Excited to share the third Hyperborea session featuring our guest @MikaelDelta, one of the most influential electronic music artists in Greece. He is a founding member of the iconic group Stereo Nova and the founder of the T19 collective, having shaped the Greek electronic scene since the early '90s.

This session unfolds as a personal sonic map, composed entirely of Mikael's own material. Flowing through ambient, dub techno textures with touches of modern classical, it captures a journey through inner landscapes.

Serafim Tsotsonis is a Greek composer, electronic musician, music producer and sound designer. He has composed music for films, plays, documentaries, video art and TV commercials. Serafim has also produced albums of other artists and among his latest collaborations are Selofan’s recent album “Partners in Hell”, Ocean Hope’s debut album “Rolling Days”, Kid Moxie’s OST for the movie “Not to Be Unpleasant, But We Need to Have a Serious Talk” via Lakeshore Records and more.
 His personal work extends in a wide range of music genres, including electronic, neo-classical, ambient, jazz, post-rock, dream-pop and it is mostly characterized by the pursuit of an exclusive, distinctive identity: a mixture of soundscapes combining both cerebral, dynamic sounds and melancholic, atmospheric elements. 
While he mainly works at his home studio in Athens, he founds strong inspiration in his hometown of Corinth, a small seaside village in southern Greece, where he often collects nature sounds as a primal material incorporated in his pieces.
He has released 5 solo albums under Seattle-based label Hush Hush Records and Greek-based label Klik Records and many EP’s. 
Recently being unveiled as one-half of dream-pop duo Ocean Hope alongside his sister Angeliki, they released an EP, as well as their debut album, under Hush Hush Records.

Born and raised in Athens, his earliest musical influences were shaped by the sounds of forest-psy and progressive before he delved deep into the world of Techno.

He finds solace and a sense of belonging on the dancefloor, where he feels at home, embracing the equality and unity it offers while living in the moment—almost like a form of meditation. Driven by a deep passion for self-expression, he transitioned to the other side through the art of DJing—and more than 15 years have passed since then.

During his studies, he was a resident artist for the “Cube” collective, where he organized limited-capacity events featuring artists such as Dax J, Keith Carnal, and Jewel Kid.

After this period, he returned to his hometown and found a new avenue for expression on Cannibalradio, hosting his own radio show, Absence of Light, before performing at major venues across the city.

His creative journey began years earlier and expanded into production, with original tracks released on labels like Diffuse Reality, PostDynamic, R[3]volution, and Muted, earning acclaim from artists including Ben Klock, Justine Perry, and Fabio Florido, to name a few.

Since moving to Berlin in 2022, he has continued to refine his craft, drawing inspiration from nature’s fluidity as well as the city’s vibrant pulse and the subtle energies that shape our reality. Most of his sets are carefully crafted on vinyl, adding an organic texture and allowing him to enter a zone of synchronicity, where everything falls into place flawlessly.

His DJ sets serve as immersive rituals—deep, hypnotic, and rich in storytelling, where music becomes a language of its own.
