Alternative spoken word set to guitar and background vocals, setting the scene of dysfunctional life in an English suburban district. The four parts of SubSuburbia paint a pretty clear picture of what it was like growing up in suburban England - mixture of white middle-class conservatives and extremely poor and vulnerable people, all fighting for power in one way or another.
