Since the beginning of his career, the name Audio has been a synonym for unmatched power and a colossal presence within the drum & bass community. Competition have crumbled beneath his output, with the producer quickly becoming revered for not only his sound, but for the dark, thematic energy he brought to every live set across the globe.  Whether it’s causing bass-lead devastation at renowned festivals, like the Czech Republic’s Let it Roll, or the darkest corner of notorious London hotspots, there’s no denying one of the genre’s most profound overlords. 

And following the monumental success of his ‘Nil By Mouth’ EP, which saw him rise to an even more prominent position across the cyber world (amassing thousands of streams within days, despite being uploaded onto a brand new Soundcloud account), Audio is making a welcomed return. 

‘Shatterdome’ is stocky, imposing and forcibly holds you in its grasp. One of the most sought after, climatic anthems since it was first premiered within one of his infamous live shows and rinsed from Ibiza to the US by Andy C, ‘Shatterdome’ manipulates cinematic samples and pushes you into an apocalyptic soundscape.  Quaking with every drum roll, it’s a techy thumper which propels you through on steroids. A fresh cut elaborating on the producer’s impeccable standards, this single is undeniably fierce.

Just as intimidating is the double AA side ‘2 Stroke’. A pounding riddim underpinned by a bassline that reverberates through, it’s gradually built upon with a clanking cowbell before breaking into a synth like structure. Demonstrating a complexity which bares its teeth, whilst being indisputably intricate, Audio presents a flipside worthy of its predecessor.
So once again, it’s time for Audio to lay siege on your aural synapses; no other individual does it like the underground overlord.

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Perkussiv Music is proud to release another milestone in the Drum ’n Bass scene. Yabol from Poland chose Perkussiv Music again for his second album called “No More Mr. Nice Guy”. This LP includes 12 tracks in total: 8 Solo-tracks by Yabol, one remix by Amex Perkussiv and last but not least Yabol teamed up with Amex, Pylon and Eiton, so that 3 more outstanding tracks were created. The album will be released on Nov. 27th 2015 and will be available exclusively for 2 weeks at Beatport, after that at any other store of your choice.
Deriving from the Techno-DnB Music and Psy-Music, Yabol showcases his wide-ranging skills. We could state that it is more a two-splitted album. The first 5 tracks - “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, “Haba Haba Haba”, "Eukaryote", “Hush Hush” and “Xibalba” - will take the listener on a psychedelic journey. He will be amazed by Yabol’s great talent for harmonies and outstanding riffs presented in these tracks. Also, the listener will get a glimpse of where the rest of the album is evolving, namely into a very dry, straight-forward, tribal, purely dance-floor smashing Techno-DnB.
In this second part of the album, the Techno-DnB-infected heart will be regaled with 7 exceptional tracks. Yabol presents his other face: Besides the fact he is able to compose complex and harmonic arrangements - as shown in the first 5 tracks - the listener can get to know  Yabol’s inner tribal animal and his deep love for club-focused, dry Techno-DnB. He completed 3 Solo-Tracks: “Quantum Fifteen”, “Blind Max aka The Signal” and “Quincunx”. Amex Perkussiv has done a remarkable remix on “Blind Max” with his typical “no-compromise-philsosophy". Yabol also teamed up with him in “Maktub”. Furthermore Yabol and Pylon (both being part of the polish “Mechaplex”-crew) once again are showing in “Gonska” their polish way of saying: “Dance!”. In the end both Yabol and Pylon collaborated with french producer Eiton, resulting in “Sacred Triangle”.

The name Katharsys derives from ‘an extreme change in emotion that results in renewal, restoration and revitalization’. And after one listen to the forthcoming LP sampler which French producers Hugo and Tom have been crafting in sonic solitude, you’ll understand why they chose this namesake. Following the start of their journey together in 2001, the duo began producing their very first drum & bass tracks. Inspired by the likes of Tech Itch, Kemal, Konflict and other heavyweight bass legends from across the darker end of the spectrum, the outfit have followed the same ethos. And that’s to transpose the primal instinct of Catharsis into every record.

Whether it’s Neurofunk or Darkstep, Katharsys have turned their hands to every sub-genre, across a wide variety of labels. Imprints such as Barcode, Obscene, Future Sickness and Guerilla have grown the pair from strength to strength, increasing their notoriety whilst helping to push them throughout the European club scene. And for their next offering, the renowned Othercide Records have given them a platform, an imprint which will release their second LP and further solidify their place as underground tastemakers.

Having already released on the likes of NeurofunkGrid, Renegade Hardware and Let it Roll, Kutlo’s addition to Kosen Production’s back catalogue of meticulously chiselled music comes as no surprise. He’s already toured extensively throughout the European scene, from his home country to the Czech Republic, seeding his music to audiences worldwide which is why fans both new and old will be eagerly awaiting his forthcoming EP on Kosen. Between its ticking, atmospheric introduction, to the guttural undertows of ‘Wasp Nest’, Kutlo ensures that the full EP drags you into his heavyweight production standard and leaves you there to drown.

Beginning the collection of records is ‘Memento’. It sets a precedent, one built through snipping hi-hats and a gradual punch line of intimidating beat patterns. Instantly you know the direction which ‘Memento’ is about throw you into, with a flipped bassline and ominous vocal snippets. Then ‘Exotherm’ dives you head first through elevating pitches of synth and crackling percussive undertows. Your aural nerves are pushed through each steppy drum rhythm before once more you’re made acutely aware of the drop that’s about to envelop you. ‘Out of Place’ clicks into gear with a tell-tale, grimy vocal sifting through its intro and a mix which gradually pulls itself together. Each lyrical melody draws you in deeper, before you’re moved into a steppy gait. And finishing the EP is ‘Wasp Nest’, a track which crackles with an LFO bassline, nodding to its namesake, and cuts deeper with every quickening layer of metallics. Kutlo leaves a lasting impression with ‘Wasp Nest’ and it’s the perfect way to wrap up an intimidating furore into the producer’s world. Within the vast plain of a once feral land glistened a metropolis of undeniable beauty, a monument to those who had triumphed over what had lain in this place before. Brightly as it shone however, the shadows cast by its towering spires told a different story. The creation of such beauty had been an ugly thing indeed, and still within its darkest alleys there were those who remembered what had been and what they had suffered. In secret they met, practitioners of the old ways who stood determined to see the return of the land’s natural state. They had watched the land carefully, seeing what others did not within each passing day’s minute differences. Thus, when the day of their ascendancy at last arrived, their ritual had already begun.

Those living at the city’s outskirts reported it first, a low rumbling that began to shake the heirlooms from their shelves. Quickly this turbulence began to spread through the city, and by the time it had reached the center the metropolis’ reckoning had arrived. A great beast had begun to smash its way through the city’s outlying areas, trampling all in its path with the unrestrained fury of the wilds. With singular intent in charged headlong towards the city’s center, reducing shops and homes to rubble without caution or care. Wrought from the flesh of one of the plain's native creatures, the great beast had been brought forth by the practitioners of the old ways to carry out their righteous vengeance. Thus they cackled as the perpetrators of their subjugation feld beneath its thunderous hooves whilst screaming out a single monstrous name, HOGZILLA.

EATBRAIN veteran Mindscape returns to the label under the newly revised moniker MNDSCP, continuing in the work of his original alias under the novel title with his latest EP on the label. Following the release of his three part Reanimator LP on the label in 2018, MNDSCP now presents HOGZILLA as his latest body of work, setting the stage for future releases under his new alias with four tracks powered by his singularly tech focused sonics.
