Straight out of the Czech Republic Forbidden Society returns with a roaring EP of turbo-charged drum & bass that follows a brief hiatus since his juggernaut ‘Thronecrusher’ LP of early 2015. Three tracks of blistering tech-infused madness, hold on tight!

“I am an open-minded person and I just love music in general – good music, from D&B, electro, techno, metal, punk – it just needs to have energy and drive for me. When I was young I listened to lots of punk and metal until a friend played me a tape with some early rave on it. After that I began to DJ with vinyl at underground raves and squat parties around CZ. When I first started producing my own tracks I was into digital hardcore, but I got really excited when I discovered drum & bass producers like Ed Rush and Technical Itch. The sound they were pioneering was incredible and I became more and more interested in making my own take on it.”

“After a year and half since my ‘Thronecrusher LP’ hit I’m so happy to present my brand new 3-track ‘Punk & Rust’ EP on my own Forbidden Society Recordings. The tunes are inspired by my love of early hip-hop and punk, really heavy. Maybe not for every ear but I was on a studio vibe and this is what came out! Had so much fun producing it and it’s kind of got back that energy of my early production days. New PC, new Daw, new music. After a little break I’m back on it! Hi, my name is High Rankin i am 32 and a half years old, live in Brighton. I like walks on the beach, open log fires and getting boyed up on pingers with you mum.
I have compiled this mix on the orders of the PRSPCT management who have amongst other things threatened me with violence and repeatedly called me a "Snowflake Moustachioed Cucktard" in front of friends and family. 
I was going to put in tracks by other producers like Cooh, Counterstrike, The Panacea, Limewax and so on but all it did was highlight my shitty mixdowns and play against the ego trip of releasing a mix of entirely ones own records. So yeah, fuck the police etc.
I hope you enjoy this mix and if you would like me to come and turn out your disco/rave/wedding etc i can beat mix competently with only mild glances at the bpm counters which is more than can be said for most of the swinging dicks on the scene these days, AMIRITE?!!??!??!111!!

The ‘Destruction Funk EP’ hits hard from the off and never lets go, drawing from FS’s years of experience in the scene with touches of old school amongst the tech, this is one for dance floors across the land this year.

“I have been working on this new EP for the past 6 or 7 months. It’s taken a while as I’ve not been forcing myself, instead I’ve only been setting foot in the studio when I’ve felt some real inspiration. I think this way we get the best results in the music and it’s also a lot more fun. I spend a lot of time editing, pushing my boundaries further and I’ve struck a nice balance of neuro and dark & hard D&B that should work with a lot of audiences.More to come out later this year, next EP is almost ready so be prepared!”
