Rene Wise has only been in the game a short time though his network and output hint differently. A drummer from the age of seven, his intuitive ear naturally turned digital and has been catching the attention of industry heads in recent years. Bassiani Podcast 92 is a perfect exemplar for his sound: primal, anarchic and groovy, the fluent brand of techno with which the fresh-faced Brightonian has rightfully earned his stripes.

This week we are joined by Lyric, also known as Lyza and Ericson, a duo from Hannover. This joint project is the lovechild of the two artists, focused on fast and driving, uplifting rhythms, using three decks to maximum effect. Their discography includes releases on labels such as Canticle Rec., Influenced Rec. and Room Trax. Their work has been supported by artists such as Rodhad, Rene Wise or Pan-Pot and they will certainly not be the last.

Hamburg-based @groemm is giving us the honor to kick off our new podcast series: NEST-Sessions. 

With this fresh start of our mix series, we want to open up space for friends and family of Mamagei to show off their sound, vision, creativity, and passion and increase visibility for artists that we deem worthy of your attention. NEST-Session aims to display all kinds of electronic music beyond the genre norm and allow artistic freedom in all directions.

Thanks to his musical knowledge, he takes every crowd on a journey through sound from old school to modern and all the way back. No matter if it takes two or eight hours.
