Can sound waves heal our bodies and minds? There’s a growing belief that certain holistic healing methods such as sound therapy do lead to positive health outcomes. In my previous podcast episode, host Elena Vidrascu examined the physiological responses we have to audio stimulation, by understanding how our ears and brains process information received audibly through sound waves, and then looking at the relationship between our brain waves and our health in an effort to introduce you to sound healing.

In this episode, Elena discusses the practical use of sound for enhancing well-being, with special guest Alexander Tuttle, a sound therapist and musician who holds a private practice in Stokesdale, North Carolina, where he works with people struggling with anxiety, depression, pain, substance abuse, and other trauma-related issues. FUTURR est un voyage dans les brumes de l’Est, là où le vent siffle des histoires de déserts, des traversées d'océans, des vols planés, un regard tourné vers l’intérieur. À l’origine du projet se trouve David Laferri, qui a parcouru le monde des années durant, apprenant à ouvrir ses ailes en s'immergeant dans les cultures musicales Indienne, Espagnole et Africaine. FUTURR est son nouveau projet solo, mixant les sonorités du Sitar, le rythme de la nature, les chants et les ondes enveloppantes de bols tibétains sous l’effet de loopers. Le résultat est une musique qui transporte vers Soi, vers des mondes en perpétuelle transformation. 
Également acteur de théâtre et de cinéma en Espagne et au Québec, David mise sur l'authenticité et le feu qui brûle en dedans, pour transmettre ses chansons et vivre l'expérience d’une connection artistique avec son public.
