Jonathan sent me this lovely music, and for some reason I thought of Fibonacci. Not so much the number sequence, but the guy. The numbers are cool and I love them --a series where each is the sum of the two before: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and so on. They are meaningful because it turns out these numbers appear disproportionately around us: in math, in our preferences, in nature. Like as depicted in the wonderful illustration that Jonathan found to accompany our tune. So many things end up to be described by the numbers. The beautiful numbers! Count the petals on a flower and the result will likely be one of them. How lovely is that? 
But the guy himself popped up in my head when I heard Jonathan's music. I imagined young Fibonacci --almost a thousand years ago now --looking carefully at everything around him: ruminating, fascinated, entirely distracted. So in love with the mystery of the world. To me that is the essence of romance. Young Fibonacci, madly in love with the world.

You Thought Of Everything (with Janine Levinson)

Do you remember the story of how a mushroom began to grow on Oleg's head? It ended very well! The Mystique and Oleg turned to the queen of sound - their friend Myrh! She smiled, sang and turned the mushroom into a hat. Now Oleg could wear it whenever he wanted and he didn't have to wear a huge turban to hide his special appearance.

Oleg gladly took off his hat and sighed. The world became somehow uninteresting without her, and then he heard the song of the hat. She called him ... Put it on! 

He looked at the hat with disbelief, but after listening to the song halfway through, he put it on. Suddenly, Mauko materialized in the air and began to beatbox. Oh, how the song lacked this beat!

With Japan as the northern limit, it is distributed in southeastern China, the Himalayas, parts of India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. It prefers to live in forests, especially coniferous forests.
