Roimata has a unique style of lyrically composing alongside the guitar, she manages to utilize her looping pedal as an advantage to do some lead breaks and is a magnificent show to watch.

"When performing I like to engage with the crowd and take them on a journey musically or lyrically", says Roimata, her influences are Damien Keys, Adam Ivy, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Eric Clapton and many more which shows in her songwriting and music marketing strategies.

Tales from the dark side. Hip Hop, comic books and all other things odd

I have been involved in music making since I first picked up the guitar at 15 in the late 60's to learn Led Zeppelin riffs. 
In the late 70's and early 80's I commenced my training in classical guitar eventually graduating from the West Australian Conservatorium of Music in 1985. 
In 2008, after 40 years of playing and teaching the guitar, I switched to the piano and have never looked back. 
Piano has helped me to realise that composing and improvising are really my greatest musical interests, and to this end, I have endeavoured to write strong, interesting and memorable tunes that facilitate improvisation and dance.
