"THE BOX"
is Vincent Bergier's (ex "Crash Normal")  new band.
Vincent has played guitar from 2001 to 2010 in "CRASH NORMAL" (many albums & 7" on Kill Shaman , S-S Records , Born Bad Records , Rococo ..)
 They have shared the bill throughout the USA and Europe with Sic alps, The Intelligence, Alan Vega, Ty Segall, The Mayyors, The Spits, Kid congo, Davila 666, BBQ, Wounded Lion, Human Eyes, the Cave, Crystal Stilts…).
 

Vincent has formed "THE BOX" in late 2011 and has now been joined by Yoann (bass guitar).
They have just started playing live in february in Paris.
At the moment they are recording few more tracks and some cool records labels (both US and french) have allready shown interest for issuing an LP next spring.

Swallow The Rat - Hey Yeah

Today Discotexas is releasing 'Running in The Dark', the single from my newest album, which will be released early next year. I wrote this song with GPU Panic, who also lent his unique voice to 'Luz', released early this year. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be sharing it with you.

Written during a period of personal loss and uncertainty, what 'Running in the Dark' means to me is taking chances. I decided to let my emotions take the wheel for once, and let the music go where it needed to go. That decision prompted both me and Tomé (GPU Panic) to step outside our usual comforts, and explore unexpected territories. Throughout this journey we encountered dirty breaks, arpeggiated basslines and the melodies of a Kora by Mbye Ebrima. We hope the result is able to resonate with you as much as it did with us.

Flying Moon In Space are a seven-piece band from Leipzig, Germany borne out of live improvisations which are known to last hours at a time. Having clocked-up nearly fifty shows in their home-city alone, as well as support slots with The Holydrug Couple, Elephant Stone and The Sweet Release of Death and a couple of headline tours around Europe, the group have now signed to London-based label Fuzz Club for their self-titled debut LP. A shape-shifting blend of driving Krautrock aesthetics, vivid psychedelic pop and techno-indebted electronics, Flying Moon In Space’s ambitious first full-length is due for release December 4th 2020. 

Although they cite influences that span the likes of Can, Neu!, Brian Eno and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, ‘Flying Moon In Space’ is an album indebted to the band’s own experimental live approach more than anything else. Their improvised live shows typically see them perform with four guitars, bass, drums and vocals, resulting in huge walls of sound that are awash with hypnotic motorik beats and orchestral walls of reverb. 

Talking about the album, they say: “We gain our main influences during experimenting live with different rhythms, layers of sounds and other textures. The energy that comes up playing live with that amount of people takes our perception of music to another dimension. We developed the whole album during our live shows in 2019 so they really capture a certain moment for the band.”

“It Falls” is the debut single release of Chewing Inc., a label recently launched by Local Natives’ Nik Ewing. First reveling in a loving relationship’s blissful perception of a shared identity, the song then crashes into a sense of shock once that union dissolves. The single will appear on Visher’s forthcoming album 30 Years in the Making, which is produced by Harriet Brown, mixed by Chris Chu (POP ETC), and includes contributions by members of Dawes among others. “The album is a mix of new and old songs about being in love and remembering love and heartbreak. ‘It Falls’ captures the funky grooves in between those spaces,” Visher explains.

Tam Visher is a Los Angeles–based artist whose soaring classic vocals dance over contemplative piano tunes with influences from Dirty Projectors to Thelonious Monk. After developing his early musical expression in choir, musical theater, and jazz band, Visher later played keys on tour with Dawes, POP ETC, and Van William.
