Guys, i think finally came the time to show what has been my devotion for what I do in terms of music. I've started 10 years ago, when I first listened a Tetrameth track (I thank you Pete for that, one of my best musical and mind inspirations).From that moment, Zenon became I dream, an achievement of self proving test not for a name, not for recognition or fame, but for honor to be standing side by side with those people who dedicated so much of their lives to share innovation, intricacy, intelligence and creativity. Now here I am, 10 years later, this time, SHARING MY OWN PASSION AND DEDICATION TO MUSIC, AND TO INSPIRE PEOPLE to try to do their best to achieve their goal in life. THANK YOU ALL FOR SO MUCH KINDLY COMMENT, LIKE, SHARE, and in the dancefloors, enjoying my music with me.

I cannot mention a few friends which stood with me all this time: FABIO LEAL - You are the best brother and one of the most refined taste and opinion about music. Pinkshinyultrablast, a five-piece band from Saint-Petersburg in Russia, are set to release their debut album ‘Everything Else Matters’ on 26th January.

Hailing from a city more synonymous with the State Conservatory rather than a gang of shoegaze addicts, they’ve been compared to Lush. But this is no mere throwback tribute - due to their sharp, icy electronics and ability to subvert the genre, bringing something new to the table. They possess  not only the spirit of late 80s/early 90s British bands like Ride, but also machine-made sounds of the same era from Sabres Of Paradise or Global Communication, not to mention wider vibrations like Cluster, Popul Vuh, Terry Riley and Philip Glass.

Disdain for a stagnant scene can often be a driving force of creativity; the band say of St Petersburg that, “we realised the local indie scene was totally boring and wanted to play something radically different”. That vision has been realised – this is an album brimming with playful melody and finely-crafted songwriting. Imagine the scope of a Caribou record, fronted by Elizabeth Fraser soundtracking a grizzly Raskolnikov crime.

The band take their name from an Astrobrite album, an act who were, according to the band, instrumental in how they “researched spaces between ambient, heavy guitar and pop music” .The spaces are what stand out, the production creates a dream-like affair, while space to breathe and reflect on the beauty of the music is accommodated. There is a sparseness to the album that in turn gives spaciousness, even expansiveness.

The second single ‘Holy Forest’ is released 19th January. The song is indicative of an album full of melodic gems and shimmering shoegaze - euphoric with spectral guitars, its sharp edged pop has a radiant charm.  Welcome to your new favourite Russian band.

Today Wild Beasts release two previously unheard tracks entitled Soft Future and Blood Knowledge. Over the past couple of months Wild Beasts and Parisian animator Mattis Dovier have been working together to create an interactive GIF-novel (po.st/SFNovel) to accompany Soft Future and Blood Knowledge. “Golden Facelift” is a song recorded during the Forgiveness Rock Record sessions, but ultimately did not make the final cut for one reason or another. 
It is a song we as a band all felt strongly about lyrically and musically and we wanted to give it a proper unveiling when the time was right. We feel that chance is now as this year draws to a close. 2014 has not been without its beauty, but it has also been a year of incredible brutality and all of humanity has a great deal to answer for. Broken Social Scene aims to echo the voice and concerns of the underdog while creating music that will hopefully inspire those who are doing good and useful things for this planet and humankind.

Graveyard Tapes are Euan McMeeken and Matthew Collings. McMeeken (vocals, piano) is known for fronting the chamber pop ensemble The Kays Lavelle, for his solo piano work as glacis, and for his independent label mini50 records. Collings (guitar, production) is notorious for his highly experimental solo material, his collaborations with Dag Rosenqvist and Talvihorros, and for his sorely-missed alias Sketches For Albinos. Our Sound Is Our Wound is their collaborative debut, and marks the triumphant synthesis of both art forms, combining McMeeken’s tapwater vocals and delicate piano arrangements with Collings’ electronic wizardry and percussion innovations.
