The Underground Youth ninth album, Montage Images of Lust & Fear is undoubtedly their most sincere work in an extensive, decade-long discography with which they’ve picked up a cult following across the globe – made evident in their millions of YouTube streams and relentless international touring.  


This is The Underground Youth’s most intense and honest record yet - in the ambitious songwriting and live recording (a first for the band), as well as the lyrical subject matter. Craig Dyer explains “Montage Images of Lust & Fear is inspired by the succession of experiences we are increasingly dealt by the media. Sex, violence, love, suspicion, desire, distress, etc. The album acts as a montage itself, the subject of each song dealing with an aspect of either lust or fear. Like flicking through the channels on a television. Until in the end you are overcome by white noise. Static.”

Planet Mu stalwart Ital Tek remixes ‘Silver Pit’ from Ben Chatwin's 2018 album 'Staccato Signals', seizing the slow-burning cataclysmic energy of the original and reforming it with bold, cinematic crescendos.

The remix is the first taste of 'Altered Signals', an upcoming remix album which sees Ben working with some of his favourite producers in the electronic world.

This here is the (official) bio for Do It Better Again – the second full-length from GONZO. GONZO are a rock band. Gonzo are from Melbourne via Geelong. Do it Better Again is out on long playing vinyl through Anti Fade Records from March 29. 

GONZO met and formed in the sunny seaside town of Ocean Grove where they all happened to live on the same street. This must have been around 2014 while finishing high school. It was the best of times. 

This is the follow up to their debut album, Gonzo by Gonzo. This record is better. 
Do It Better Again was recorded over three days in a Castlemaine stable that was built in 1857, when things were built better. It was recorded and mixed entirely using analogue gear, so it feels better. The first time it touched a computer was in the hot hands of Mikey Young for mastering, so it sounds better too. 

GONZO aren't punk, indie, shoe-gaze, psych, whatever. GONZO are a rock band. And a real one. GONZO reference classic rock sounds like The Saints, The Victims, Gang of Four, and the Easybeats alongside modern sounds of Thee Oh Sees, Eddy Current Suppression Ring and Uranium Club. See for yourself. 

Do it Better Again is out Friday March 29th on Anti Fade Records.
