Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Juan Correa Lopez introduced his ALURIA alias in 2016 to create boundary-less electronic music, breaking the mould of tradition and striving for exploring the different. The Merlo (Buenos Aires, Argentina) born artist, and now currently based in Brooklyn (New York, USA), made appearances on many reputable imprints from the likes of Manual Music, Stripped Recordings & One of a Kind, to name a few. ALURIA made his debut on Juicebox Music in 2023 through the first edition of our Fables compilation with his single Precession and now he returns with two weapons: Mangos and Avocados, a deep & dubby yet heavy & twisted concoction and Lunchbox, a minimal & simple yet peak & wonky banger. Were thrilled to welcome back the São Paulo (Brazil) maestro - DNYO to the label to give ALURIAs Mangos and Avocados a go. As one of our core artists, Danny Oliveira made his first appearance on our imprint in 2019 with Flare / Children, following it up with Radiate / Closer Distance and Halcyon / Sensoria / Space Monk as well as contributing to our Tales of Time compilation with Little Samurai, DNYO is no stranger to our camp with his incredibly unique & intelligent approach to sound thats nearly impossible to imitate. He tackles Mangos and Avocados under his Cyber Dub style, traversing into a familiar futuristic world through unconventional practices. DNYO is not for the faint hearted. To close off the release, we welcome back one of our favourites from Goa (India) - Greenage. With three appearances on the imprint - a remix for Monojokes Arterials in 2017, Undying Devotion of Life on our Tales of Time compilation in 2019 and a remix for EANPs Terra in 2020, Greenage is a firm favourite at HQ. Having planted one foot into the Progressive House world while the other foot into the Deep & Organic House world, Greenage finds no trouble expressing his vision with such a range, scoring releases on Hope Recordings, Sudbeat,Tale & Tone & Where The Shadow Ends to name a few. This time, Greenages return to Juicebox Music sees him remixing ALURIAs Lunchbox into a driving prog-monster.

Juicebox Music's 81st release sees fresh remixes by Jiminy Hop & EMPHI of Andrés Moris' iconic "The Story We Tell / The Choice" EP. With the originals releasing in the late autumn of 2023, it marked Andrés Moris' debut with the label. The Argentine native, now residing in Italy, created a special moment in his career with these two offerings and earned incredible support around the world, showcasing his perfect blend of emotional soundscapes and groove-focused rhythms.

We're excited to welcome back the incredibly talented Jiminy Hop to the fold after a long wait. His inaugural appearance on our imprint in 2021 through his single "Tension" as well as a monster 3-track EP featuring "Contemplation", "Desire" & "Summered" paved a path towards a rise in the progressive house fraternity. As one of the 3 members of the electronic band "Krasa Rosa", The Saint-Petersburg (Russia) resident has no boundaries towards his musical vision. Jiminy Hop's take on Andrés Moris' "The Story We Tell" pays homage to the spirit of the original track but his own style - expressing unique stories & visions through music.

Layton Giordani crafts his most accomplished work to date with ‘New Generation’, his second album on Drumcode. 
 
Since 2017’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Where It Begins’, the New Yorker has entrenched himself as one of the label’s most vital artists and leader of techno’s new school brigade. At just 27, he’s collaborated with Adam Beyer and Green Velvet on multiple occasions, linked with the legendary Danny Tenaglia for the now-classic ‘Live Again’ and played everywhere from Awakenings, Melt! Festival and Warehouse Project. He’s also lived the Transatlantic life more than most, splitting his time between the Big Apple and Amsterdam, absorbing influences from across the electronic spectrum.  
 
It’s these experiences that inform ‘New Generation’, a masterclass of techno futurism and glistening example of Giordani’s ever-developing talents as a producer. Opening with the shimmering soundscapes of ‘Shinjuku’, a beatless two-and-a-half-minute mood setter, the album swings between timeless multi-faceted dancefloor weapons, and more lilting, ambient techno cuts rips for the golden hour. 
 
Already a favourite of the Drumcode faithful, the album’s title track hits with a swarm of synapsesearing synths that saw it go down a treat at Awakenings Festival, Tomorrowland and Gashouder in the second half of 2019. ‘System Majority’ balances atmosphere and propulsive rhythms on a knife’s edge and featured in Beyer’s DCR 515 radio show. Giordani reunites with the legendary Green Velvet for ‘Life Lesson’, a pulsating roller, which notably features the young New Yorker’s hypnotic vocals on loop. Teaming with friend and fellow East Coaster Avision, ‘Power’ is punchy techno at its finest, driven by energetic stabs and a stirring vocal from Chicago journeyman Cevin Fisher. After playing b2b a string of times, Layton links with good friend Bart Skils for a maiden collaborative track. Driven by a strong melodic lead, ‘Midnight Magic’ typified the moment when the duo played it at Drumcode’s Awakenings event during ADE last year. ‘Feel A Vibe’ is an album highlight centered around plump bass, reverb-heavy sonics, distorted bleeps and a spoken word vocal, which begs for a peak-time rinse. 
 
Elsewhere Giordani demonstrates his breadth with cuts such as ‘Nirvana X’, a lush breakbeat-laden cut; the laser-kissed ‘Translation Lost’, where his musicality is in full view and the progressive-tinged 
‘Memory Fragment’, which reinforces the expansive Drumcode sound palette. The beautiful ‘Human Error’ closes out the work, as muffled horns, delicate keys and sparse bed of percussion unify for a momentous finale.
