"The song is about losing your first love and the thought process in accepting and realizing what has actually happened. Feeling empty and lost in you emotions and not seeing any glimpse of hope from the world. You seek for that specific person in everyone you meet, but end up in disappointment. In the end, you see hope and accept the fact that you can survive without that one person. 
For me, this song is a reflection of all the emotions I’ve went through in this roller-coaster. It has a very deep meaning behind it and I wanted to use instruments and sounds to create emotion, instead of using vocals. Each part in the song reflects a different emotion. The build-up to the first drop in the song reflects my realization and pain, whilst the build-up to the second drop reflects the beginning of acceptance, and the drop meaning acceptance at last."
