How I made it- 
it all started with the vocal, and i just added from there.

towards the end, i didn't really know what to do, but i was experimenting with the patcher plugin, and boy there's so much in the presets. u can use a resonator, a disperser and so much more. probably my biggest takeaway from this track

during the production of this song i sort of realized that i had been focused on how my songs have been performing recently and less of how i thought of my songs as a whole. did i like them? did i enjoy making them? or was i just doing it for a bunch of silly hearts and plays? then i rediscovered my "reason" for producing, and that was to make music that i liked, and i listened to. anyways, ill stop yapping now and you can listen to my new banger :]

Which, since my album was about using really tiny robots to do genetic mutation and transformation stuff, I HAD to make a micro song. Ended up not doing a micro color bass and more just micro dubstep. The result sounds like nothing I had ever heard of before.

“Other Worlds” was inspired by a new collage from Sebastian Wahl , which we brought to life with the help of Black Lake Media. The collage shows portals emerge and unfold and evolve within and around a picture frame… a magical gateway, like the wardrobe in The Chronicles of Narnia.

On a sunny day in Brooklyn I sat down with @DorfexBosMusic to write a piece of music to go along with the visuals, and the ideas just came pouring out. We finished the song in 24 hours flat, with various instruments and sounds mapped to various details and dimensions of the various worlds within the collage.
