Another smooth groove coming out of the Musik House Studio with this funky hip-hop movement that gets you clicking tapping and finding your groove when you least expect it
I like to compose soul/funk grooves when i have a spare few hours of peace and quiet as to me and going back to the early 1980's i would spend hours listening to one song over and over and hear the harmonies and instrumentation used as it fascinated me and still does today. Like the Soul2Soul classic "Back To Life" i also used a strings stab section midway in the song as to me it triggers another level in the song that carries even the most stubborn listeners longer in the song in between chorus sections.
Another influence to me was the lush voice of Sade and a band called the "Brand New Heavies" who were one of my faved bands during the 80's-90's and not forgetting Level 42 with bass guitar riffs that brought my ears to attention and the sublime song writing skills that i still admire to this day.. so hopefully this genre im slowly improving the more i create within this style.
