A portion of this was recorded live during the 1-year anniversary of my former Twitch show, Omakase, in April 2021. The remainder was sequenced in the studio to expand the mix to two hours, for broadcast on Holotropic Happy Hour, the former weekly A/V Twitch show I co-produced on Bluetech's channel for over 2 years.

Low-end basscapades, traditional horn lines and global soundplay all meet up with  the skank and stutter of dub reggae vibes for a mesmerizing entanglement with psychedelic sound design. What an unforgettable night at the Mishawaka celebrating 25 years of us making music together! 🌟 This venue holds a special place in our hearts—there’s nothing like playing outdoors, next to the river, under the stars. We were blessed with beautiful souls and fans who came out to make this anniversary show truly magical. Huge gratitude to Bloomurian and the folktronica duo Siren & Seer for opening the night with such mesmerizing vibes. We were thrilled to dive deep into an extended 2-hour set for everyone! [UPDATE] 

This album was originally organized with the idea to build a science lab at Shree Prabhat Higher Secondary School in Dhawa, Gorkha, Nepal. Unfortunately the 7.9 magnitude earthquake shook Nepal the day after release, destroying most of Dhawa, including the school. The country needs billions in funds to recover from this tragic event and in our small way, we are redirecting our efforts through this project to create a fund for rebuilding Dhawa. PLEASE consider donating to our cause in exchange for a cutting-edge music compilation and help us restore normality to a highly vulnerable community.

Just days before Summer Solstice, Liquid Bloom performed a powerful set inside Meow Wolf Denver’s Numina exhibit as part of a sold-out PORTAL event during the Psychedelic Science conference. This unique night brought together a global web of psychonauts, artists, and seekers inside the surreal dreamscape of Convergence Station.

Following a rare and beautiful DJ set from East Forest, Liquid Bloom guided a journey from ambient and downtempo into bass, drum & bass, and tribal midtempo—culminating in a high-energy blend of house rhythms and ecstatic movement. A live surprise from Poranguí added soul-stirring vocals to the mix, and a closing invocation from Ram Dass gently brought the spaceship back to Earth.

Pool parties at hotels...one surefire reminder of summertime. For the second year in a row, I was invited to open a Tropical & Friends pool party at the Custom Hotel with a set that accompanied a yoga class, before the dance masters took over the decks into the afternoon.
