The Deadfaced Dimension (with MC Nolz)

210 bpm After hearing many uptempo hardcore & frenchcore tracks I was surprised how it all was based on just kicks. I’m also guilty of doin that, no doubt, but I was missing the funk. Just some simple snare and hats that makes you bounce in a different way. So the vibe was not about the hard kickdrums, but making it funky. Found an oldschool acapella and started to mess around. It reminded me of the vibe like “I can’t be dissed” or “Stiff groove”. Since my focus was on delivering a different styled ep, I was feeling free to make it sound how I wanted it to sound. The first response with friends was diverse, some liked it, some didn’t. And the end of the day, I have to like it and if someone else does…bonus. This was a track that I needed to get out of my system and I hope that some people will enjoy it. Mastering done by Counterfeit.
