This remix was pretty easy because the vocals are so strong. The delivery is crisp and the singing is pitch perfect. So I could basically do whatever I wanted.

Since the original was so chill, I decided to make a more dance oriented remix.  I added supersaw pads and leads and a four-on-the-floor beat.

The only really tricky part was adding some sensitivity to the production. I thought that the original, slower version felt a little more sensitive. To reveal a little bit of vulnerability, I dropped the entire arrangement out in the middle of the track, just leaving the dry vocals with no doubling. This made it feel a little more real for a moment, and provided some variety.
