“Circuit” begins in deceptive calm, with pleasant synth plucks and light, shimmering drums setting a serene, almost dreamlike tone. But just beneath the surface lies something darker. As the track progresses, it descends into a techstep-driven groove; razor-sharp basslines, precise percussion, and a pulsing sense of tension take over, evoking the gritty, futuristic energy of classic late-’90s techstep.

Midway through, the track takes a haunting turn with the introduction of a female vocal MC line, layered against ethereal, atmospheric vocal textures. The contrast between the grounded spoken word and the ghostly, melodic overlays adds a hypnotic dimension, enhancing the track’s sci-fi feel and deepening its cinematic scope. “Circuit” is a perfect blend of past and future - raw, techy, and unmistakably Ritual X.
