Next up in my monthly free edit series is an updated version of a forgotten gem - Let's Go by Bileo, B-side to the underground classic You Can Win. This one didn't need a whole lot doing to it but I rearranged things a little, gave it a spruce up and emphasised that lovely loopy bass. It shouldn't come as any surprise that you can have this one on me - just hit the button and enjoy!

Remaster of the Do I Wanna Know? (Arctic Monkeys) remix by Lowderz. I could only find harsh mp3 versions, so this remaster aims to clean up the quality of the vocals, levels, remove the harshness, and add some extra punch to the bass.

Formed in Dayton, Ohio, U.S. from the combination of members of two groups - The Montereys and The Nomads. Originally named Ohio Lakeside Express. They met Frank Wilson just before he'd quit Motown and they were signed at ABC Records and they released their debut in 1977 produced by Frank Wilson. In 1978 their manager and friend Dick Griffey founded Solar and signed the group. Norman Whitfield as well had made them an offer for Whitfield Records but Lakeside turned it down. They contributed instead to Willie Hutch' "In Tune" released in Whitfield's label. They also contributed in "Danceland" (from Carrie Lucas' third album in 1979) and produced 7th Wonder's "Stop Before You Break My Heart" (from their third and last album). They would release nine albums at Solar between 1978 - 1990. Their main line up (after several changes) were Otis Stokes (guitar, vocals), Thomas Shelby (lead vocals), Mark Adam Wood, Jr. (lead vocals, keyboards), Stephen Shockley (guitar), Fred Alexander Jr. (drums), Tiemeyer McCain (lead vocals), Marvin Craig (bass), Fred Lewis (2) (percussion), Norman Beavers (keyboards). They became famous for their flamboyant theatrical costumes on their album covers and for the rich, heavy, uplifting funk soul sound. Their biggest legacy remains their 1980 single "Fantastic Voyage" (No.1 in the r'n'b charts, the closest they came to a crossover success - No.55 in the U.S. pop chart) that was included in the soundtrack of 1992's "South Central" and Coolio covered -among other rappers- in 1994. Other big hits are "It's All The Way Live" (No.4 in 1977, R'n'B charts), their cover on The Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand" (1981, No.5, R'n'B charts), "Raid" (1983, No.8 R'n'B charts) and "Outrageous" (1984, No.7 R'n'B charts).

G Prajekt is an alias of House music pioneer Radu Sapunarescu, a Dj/Producer with firm roots in the golden era of Romania's DJ scene. 
Radu grew up listening to music since 1974, discovering parent’s reel tapes recorder with jazz, blues, gospel from the 60’s-70’s like, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Diana Ross to name a few, and soon he began making his own record selections. He was drawn towards Soul music, Jazz, Funk, Disco, Gospel, R’n’B and later in the 80’s also to Breakdance, street music and early house. 
In 1990 he started as a DJ on the radio, night long sessions at Fun Radio, then in 1991 on Radio Nova and he started to have first mixes with “early House” like Frankie Knuckels, D-Train, RJS Arrivals, Colonel Abrams, Adeva; The first club residency came in 1992.
In 1995 he sold his car to make a small home studio with 2 turntables (Technics SL1210MK2s) and a Numark mixer and he started to exercise with different scratch techniques and other tricks specific DJ international competitions, then following a series of live events with PRO TV, all summer at the beach in Costinesti '96, and other events in '97 live on tour in the country...
Radu has been an integral part of the Romanian House music scene and has remained so for over 30 years. Whether it be as a DJ, Producer or as a Broadcaster on Fun Radio or Nova, he has surfed the waves of musical trends but always returned to his one true love: Funk, Boogie, Deep Soulful Disco infused House.
Inspired by numerous artists like Joey Negro, Dr. Packer, LNTG, to name a few, his current output centers mainly around a distinct selection of rare Disco/Funk 70's-80’s tracks. His uncanny knack for uncovering forgotten and even ignored pearls is a true trademark today, where his sense for detail and savory style of execution combines to the trades of a true craftsman. 
He is releasing music on his own terms, fueled by his own ambition and free from the chains of other people’s expectations.
The sound is a brilliant mix between fine techniques, deep respect of the originals and real personality. And with their DJ friendly style, these forgotten treasures should quickly find a new life close to modern productions.
