Once again showcasing his impressive musical chops, Beat Le Juice stays true to the soul of the original while infusing it with his signature electronic funk flavours. A driving, 80s disco-funk–inspired rhythm gives the track a solid foundation, with synth riffs and bass parts creating the perfect backdrop for Bobby Saint’s nusoul-drenched vocals to shine.



BLJ: "The groove on ‘Put Some Love’ hooked me straight away, those vocals and smooth guitar lines really caught my ear. I wanted to channel that energy into an 80s-inspired boogie funk direction; bright, bouncy, and full of synth lines. I’d been listening to a lot of Jafunk at the time, so that influence definitely crept in. This remix is my way of giving the original a fresh new shine."

Driftin' Vision

Founded in 2004, the simple principal was delivering the funk with engaging music that always rocks the dance floors, regardless of genre. Started by two of the label's key artists, Mooqee & Beatvandals, each release had to be a bomb! This ethos continued throughout the initial vinyl based volume series and as the label evolved alongside the changing digital landscape, helping to develop a global funk and mid tempo scene along the way.

It's crazy to think how much the label has grown and now works with artists and partners from around the globe. Alongside individual artist releases Bombstrike is also home to the much loved Funk n' Beats, Disco Funkin' and Bass Funk compilation series, with guest curators helping the listener discover new music or unearth forgotten classics.

 

We continue to push things forward with everything we do, whether it is releases, festival stages or club nights....We always do it with our same founding ideals and will continue to do what we do best. Watch this space.

I am a Bassist whose hobby is music production. The basic concept of my music is groovy rhythms, gentle melodies, and an immersive experience that you will never get tired of listening to. I mix a variety of genres. We currently utilize generative AI, but in 2025 we plan to replace track parts in DAW and REC live instruments to establish originality.
