When we heard this joint that Jean laced for our tape, we were simply blown away by the 2min opus she provided. Phoelix's instrumental is a perfect canvas for Jean's unique mix of bars, melody, and a kind of ability to rock out. You want to talk about MOOD music? "Stranger Things" is that track and then some. #ITCO (Chopped + Screwed) is finally here and I'm happy to present it to you. Sango has been a "long-time" friend of mine (like 3-4 years lol) since I discovered him and Soulection back in 2013 I've been a supporter and DJing their stuff as much as I could. I'm happy to see their progress over the years and excited to see where they go from here. I, myself, am still djing and about to graduate from college so I'm just happy to celebrate the music that got me through it with y'all. Chopping & Screwing is something that originated from my city and I wanted to spread it as much as I could with the coming generations and wanted to do something different from just straight rap music. This is officially my first "electronic" album I've chopped so yeah lol.
