Welsh born pianist, composer & producer based in Melbourne, Australia. With a passion towards all things creative; focusing on composing for video games, contemporary dance and installation based projects.

Mike’s knowledge, professionalism, industry experience & passion for his craft, have ensured his respectable reputation within the music industry. His career & diverse skill-set vary from; DJ/producer (DJ eM), promoter, AV technician & audio engineer, as well as music technology sales consultant. His primary areas of specialty are; PA & live sound, studio equipment, sound design & professional audio solutions. 

His humble beginnings date back over 20 years, operating his own mobile DJ business & booking parties on a weekly basis. From these early gigs he was able to glean valuable experience, discovering new genres of music and honing that tricky knack of reading & entertaining a crowd. As soon as he turned 18, he found himself playing in venues throughout Melbourne, his love of dance music taking him from the mobile scene to the clubs.


Constantly moving onwards & upwards, he’s had the privilege of both playing & headlining some of Australia’s biggest dance parties alongside some of the biggest hard dance acts in the world. This natural progression saw Mike producing his own music as well, creating multiple chart topping tracks on some of the biggest global dance music distribution sites. 


In his spare time, you can find him both working & tutoring in his studio, aptly named “Bass Empire”, providing specialist services in DJ/production tuition & professional audio mastering for various local & international artists & labels within the industry.

Splinta is an all-encompassing harderstyle powerhouse. Hailing from Newcastle Australia, Splinta’s relentless dedication to driving the progression of both the scene and the sound itself have been internationally recognized. 
His back catalog is stacked with chart topping productions on multiple leading labels such as Q-Dance, Gearbox Digital, Kiddfectious, PHD and collaborations with some of the industries heavyweights.

Daft Punk is an electronic music duo consisting of French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (born February 8, 1974) and Thomas Bangalter (born January 3, 1975).[1][2][3] Daft Punk reached significant popularity in the late 1990s house movement in France and met with continued success in the years following, combining elements of house with synthpop.[1][2][4] The duo is also credited with producing songs that were considered essential in the French house scene. They were managed from 1996 to 2008 by Pedro Winter (Busy P), the head of Ed Banger Records.[5]
Early in the group's career, the band members were strongly influenced by groups such as The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. Bangalter and de Homem-Christo were originally in an indie rock trio called Darlin', which disbanded after a short period of time, leaving the two to experiment musically on their own. The duo became Daft Punk, and released their critically acclaimed debut album Homework in 1997. The 2001 release Discovery was even more successful, driven by the club singles "One More Time", "Digital Love" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". Without a doubt one of the most promising up-and-coming hard-dance artists at the moment, VtheKid - also known as Vinod Saran Mohandas - has truly developed his own unique style of relentless, chest-thumping Hard-Dance.

Originally from his hometown of Malaysia, he has built for himself one of the strongest Hard-Dance brands in Australia, having played shows for none other than Q-Dance, as well as Melbourne’s biggest promoters including Hard Kandy and Evolution Events. 

Not only have his numerous releases been supported by the world’s best DJs in Hard-Dance - A*S*Y*S, ΛUDIƟFR€Q,Scot Project, Mark E.G, Side-E-Fect, Mike Steventon and Splinta just to name a few - but his live sets are what really defines him as an artist. With quick and flawless mixing, vigorous stage presence, and a never-ending barrage of that classic “kick and off-beat sub-bass”, it’s no wonder VtheKid was nominated for the 2014 Hard-Dance Music Awards as both ’Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Producer’ after only just over a year after his first release.
