Hey Music Lovers! Headstash Music is curated by a fiendish music researcher and obsessed archivist, with a strong bias towards new forms of music, hybrid sounds and obscure rarities. I estimate I've categorized close to 20,000 tracks so far, spread over a couple dozen playlists. Unless you listen to a lot of modern music, some of the more traditional sounding playlists like Jazz, Latin, Middle Eastern and Classical might not be what you expect. The main elements that set it apart would be the emergence of electronica, and the fearless cross-pollination of genres that todays artists are breaking ground with. Other playlists include Ambient, Beats, Disco/Funk, Downtempo, Electronica, Folk, Global Bass, Hip Hop, House, Soul/R&B, Rock, Pop, Techno and more. Waylayers released Re:Verse in early 2015, the follow up to their trio debuting singles of 2014, garnering nods from BBC Radio 1 right through to Q Magazine. Hunger TV declared them as being "on the precipice of a career about to go stratospheric”. Their recent appearance at SXSW was cited by Fuse as one of the top 5 moments of the entire festival (alongside Lady Gaga and The 1975). Re:Verse featured artwork by the legendary Rankin, and was released by Alcopop Records. The band have returned in Autumn 2015 with a new direction combining elements of house and dance, coupled with their unique pop sensibility and have entirely reworked their sound and developed a new incendiary live set up, in keeping with their new vision. ‘Closer' is testament to that bold move; a track which Gigwise described as "...demanding of your attention… their atmospheric deep house surpasses any and all stereotypes.”

No longer with the 'Other Animals', Gabby’s heading in a new sonic direction, incorporating electronic and soundscape elements around her breathtaking voice. 

Expect the same vibrant vocal performance that audiences have come to expect, but with a compelling blend of acoustic and electronic timbres; pulsing synths beneath delicate zither; stuttering bass anchoring skittering beats.
