Back in 1997 when this was the drum and bass sound i managed to make this track by cutting up the samples of the original song but i didn't have any isolated tracks so it was a lot of work to align the timing.  My sister heard it about as many times as I did over the course of a couple of weeks and helped me make it less boring.

I found a little fragment of something and under a waning moon it began to blossom and bloom. The re-sampled instruments give it a sort of Portishead vibe, but with my own characteristic creepiness. The name is taken from an early document duplication technology from the 1920s, also known as a "Ditto machine" or "Banda machine".
