Returning to his Rumors imprint following the recently released ‘Rainchecks In Montreal’ in April, Guy Gerber delivers ‘Bocat’, a two track EP of the artist’s trademark intricate and expressive musicianship.

Teaming up with singer/songwriter Albertina for the enchanting title track, the duo combines guitar licks, shuffling percussion, and subtle synth lines with Albertina’s sublime vocal performance. On the flip, ‘Polaris’ sees Gerber take the wheels solo, drawing upon his years of expertise to craft a deep and moving piece complete with twinkling arps, deep low-end, and piano work.

Founded in 2014, Guy Gerber’s Rumors has played host to Dixon, Seth Troxler, P Diddy, and beyond, amassing a vast fanbase since the early clandestine beach parties on the White Island.

Back on the firm in true style, we’re welcoming UK selector and producer Huxley who is set to drop ‘All I Need’. A man on a mission in 2022, Huxley himself has already released a string of deep dance floor weapons on Ultra Music, Undisputed records and Toolroom with his last release ‘Waiting’, an emotive cut inspired by the nostalgia era of 90’s rave culture dropping on the label back in February. 

With a discography spanning imprints such as AUS Music, Realm, DFTD, Club Sweat and more behind him, when it comes to Huxley’s records you know they’re on point.

Shifting the gear up on his next outing, Huxley delivers a high dose of classic UK House, mixed with Huxley’s Sublime production prowess resulting in ‘All I Need’. An artist not bound by conventional genres, Huxley’s sound shifts and melds into whatever fits the record, and that is certainly true when listening to ‘All I Need’. Coming through with a lush, Deep House synth vibe and an earworm vocal that melts into the mix before launching into Classic UK House style bass stabs means only one thing, a straight up belter.

Damian Lazarus delivers his own take on Crosstown’s first release of 2023, unveiling his re-shape of Made By Pete and Zoe Kypri’s gripping and euphoric ‘Horizon Red’.

A staple of his sets throughout 2022 and into the New Year, Made By Pete and Zoe Kypri’s captivating and alluring collaboration ‘Horizon Red’ has served as a heavily-requested anthem for Crosstown Rebel’s head honcho Damian Lazarus. Greeted by elated cheers and euphoria from crowds across the globe with each play, the striking production and first label release of the year is now given a special re-work by the imprint boss as he serves up his own re-shape to open February.

Harnessing Kypri’s luscious and entrancing vocals and building on the original’s striking piano chords by introducing snaking grooves accented by rich organic percussion and pulsing bass stabs, Lazarus’ re-shape grows and builds to showcase an expertly crafted take balancing energy and tension impeccably.

To start the new year with a big bang, we proudly present a very special track for our 11th journey on Future Romance!

None other than Einmusik and Solee, two of the most authentic and experienced artists both with impressive careers as producer, live act, dj and label owner in the worldwide melodic house & techno scene join their forces. In german summer 2022 the two met again during a performance in Berlin and went afterwards in Einmusik´s studio. After a little jam session the idea for a cooperation was born and only a few days later "Mariposa" arose. In the meantime the track has been road-tested at many shows from both artists and is now ready to release.
As expected "Mariposa" brings us pure festival feelings, magical melodies in combination with a deep bassline, driving elements and a good portion of bliss!

Brazil’s Bruno Furlan returns to Hot Creations with his fresh two-track EP, ‘Bongoloco’.  

A DJ and producer whose recent studio endeavours have seen him release material on Black Book Records,  Fool’s Gold and Material, Bruno Furlan is an artist at the centre of Brazil’s recent explosion of names within the  house and tech house landscape. Based in São Paulo, the bubbling talent has built on his early experiences within  the Brazilian electronic music scene to make appearances at global events such as Dirtybird Campout and AMF  Festival. Following an impressive debut on the label with his two-track ‘The Speakers Pump Like This’, late  January brings a return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint as he serves up two fresh dancefloor-leaning cuts  across his ‘Bongoloco’ EP.  

“After the first release on Hot Creations, ideas started to boil in my head daily, and I wondered if Jamie  would play every song I started or not. When I started ‘Bongoloco’, it was a very raw groove, and I needed  something striking, a mix between a little crazy and something that made sense in the music. I thought  about adding some percussion, but nothing was good until I came across this bongo and fell in love with  the sound of it on the track. It’s impressive how achievements improve our ideas and performances, and  my Hot Creations debut was one of those. I have no doubt ‘Bongoloco’ only exists thanks to Jamie’s first  ‘Yes’” - Bruno Furlan. 

Title track ‘Bongoloco’ takes cues from its name and showcases a skittering percussion-driven production built for  peak-time hours as warped drum fills and vibrant vocal calls inject an abundance of energy. Keeping things  moving, the rolling ‘Vai’ delivers a slick accompaniment to the package, serving up an anthem built for bustling  terraces worldwide.

This time the EP is a mix of old and new. On the one hand the three tracks are in today's zeitgeist, but on the other hand they partly refer to old times. In modern times, my music represents a return to acid and thus refers to the old times and the "Oldskoolerz".
On A1 "Parallax" drones sometimes faster and sometimes slower to many old familiar sound elements.
B2 "Drugs" is generously driven by dynamics with a vocal sample on point.
