De origem Bantu, Akixi significa "as máscaras dos ancestrais".
O projeto foi criado por Luiz Fernando, na cidade de Diamantina, no Vale do Jequitinhonha, Minas Gerais.
Dedicado ao gênero experimental, Akixi carrega em seus arranjos técnicas que dialogam com o expressionismo e o surrealismo, influenciados pelo horror cósmico.
Criando um som anárquico e buscando representar o infinito, Akixi explora a universalidade das dimensões dos sonidos, criando paisagens sonoras para a alma!
Conceived by Luiz Lopes, the Metastasis project is dedicated to the experimental psychedelic genre, a strand of electronic music. It was raised in Diamantina, in the Jequitinhonha Valley of Minas Gerais. These are sounds that connect the listener to ancestry, futurism, minimalism and surrealism. Luiz began to be interested in music at the age of 9. When he turned 15, he had the first contacts with the electronic universe. Since then deepens the studies within this musical style. The name Metastasis is a reference to the idea that sound spreads through the air. Thus, the compositions seek to explore the universality of sound dimensions by offering those who listen to new musical perspectives. In the last four years dedicated to research, she participated in the Atemporal festival in Bahia and also performed in Belo Horizonte.
