Today we premiere new music from Hurdslenk on Insolate’s Out Of Place imprint. The fast rising techno producer has been making a name for himself with his dance floor orientated techno sound that is carved for peak time DJ manipulation and distinctly inspired by the sounds of the early 00’s.

Hurdslenk has been making his presence known within techno circles as of late, as the relatively new name has recently released on Blackaxon, NCLS, Frenzy and more. Hurdslenk uses the early 00’s era of loop orientated techno as a reference for his work thus far, and it’s clear his tracks are a dedication to this pinnacle time stamp within techno.

Croatian based imprint Out Of Place has been churning out high quality releases since it’s inception in 2015. Label owner Insolate has been putting an onus on raw and gritty techno, and using this platform to push new and thrilling artists. The label has hosted music from Rove Ranger, Kashpitzky, Developer, Alien Rain, Joe Farr and many more.

Today we premiere ‘Sands’ from Hurdslenk’s debut on Out Of Place. The track is peak time loop orientated techno at it’s very finest. Hurdslenk manges to stretch the loop to it’s very maximum, as crisp grooves shimmer around and mesmerising synths capture your ear, it’s frankly impossible to stay still for the duration of this tool. This is the epitome of techno made by DJs for DJs, and it captures the essence of the early 00’s perfectly.

This is one is a tribute to the process of dancing, that contributed a lot into healing part of himself and connect with people from all around the world without speaking since he arrived in Berlin 5 years ago.

Music is one of the most pure and powerful form of transmission, it transmit our deepest feelings and thoughts and have the power to express sometimes what words can’t. 

Sometimes its the only last thing we have left and it keeps hope, unite peoples during hard times. Thats why going to dance and share with people on music reflect all the beauty of our humanity, something we need more than ever nowadays. 

Dancing also helped him to earn confidence in his body and mind, something important to be able to find yourself and feeling aligned in who you are, a person in constant evolution.

These two artists were born in different countries but in the same year (1984).

In June of 2009,  “Gabriel D’Or” & “Bordoy” decided to combine their ideas and first-class skills.
All along this period working together, the duo has performed with artists like, Planetary Assoult System, ,Slam, Ben Sims, Luke Slater or Octave One..

Since their Dj’ing career began back in 2000, they’ve have played Techno vinyls for a long time heavily influenced by producers such as Aphex Twin, Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, CJ Bolland, Dj Rush, Anthony Rother, Mathew Johnson, Richie Hawtin or Umek..

They’ve always known how to combine their sound engineering studies and their Dj/Producer career.
