To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

Renowned for his ability to craft intricate sonic landscapes, Submersion's music encapsulates the enigmatic allure of dark ambient tones and experimental compositions, enhanced by subtle drone undercurrents. With a distinctive penchant for infusing deep dub elements into his techno productions, Submersion has earned recognition through his releases on esteemed labels such as Silent Season, Space of Variants, Private Sounds, Milieu Music, Deep Electronics, diametric, and most recently, a remarkable "Entertainment" EP on Greyscale. 

Much like a submarine delving into the unfathomable depths of the ocean, his meticulously curated mix effortlessly guides listeners through the uncharted territories of dub, ambient, and atmospheric techno, inviting them to immerse themselves in an unparalleled auditory expedition.

Federico Epis - Beyond (Forty Cats Remix) [PURRFECTION]

AMW Black Label is proud to present another release. This time with our beloved friend from Ecuador, Spektrx, in collaboration with Foozz from Costa Rica, they have created Unssen Presence EP, they have produced two incredible tracks loaded with many psychedelic vibrations and groove sounds typical of Psy-Tech, a musical style that represents both of them. 
Unssen Presence & Expired are the gems of this EP. 
A remix created by Iranian producer Psysha, Psy-Tech in the purest style. The second remix made by Argentine producer BOES, known for his Minimal Techno style without forgetting Psychedelic frequencies. 
All artists involved in this release are heavyweights, signed to the world's most important labels in the world of Psy-Tech and Minimal Techno. 
Remixes were a must, including one by Iranian producer Psysha, who delivers a remix in pure Psy-Tech style.

@citizenmaze, a.k.a. Adam McCoy, is among the most interesting talents to emerge from Melbourne in recent years. As an artist, much of his work explores the interplay between ambient sounds, acoustic instrumentation and dance music, creating lush, beautiful compositions which also find a natural fit as sophisticated club pieces. 

This approach was perfectly highlighted in his 2018 release on @analogueattic, Serenity In The Woods. Produced using a gaming laptop, a motorised Beringher mixer, and Fruity Loops, this EP showcases richly textured, intricate soundscapes, and blended field recordings with organically percussive grooves and live instrumental elements - all drenched in some of the most sublime-sounding pads we’ve had the pure pleasure of hearing. 

On the horizon for 2020-21 is the release of a second EP on Analogue Attic, plus the launch of Adam's own label, Mirror Tapes, which promises to delve deeper into the intersection of ambient sounds, dance music and experimental sound design.

This mix for Patterns of Perception, recorded alone at home on a stormy isolation-period night, also showcases Adam’s masterful attention to texture and soundscape, but in rhythmical terms brings more energy and intensity. Seemingly effortless shifts between tempos and genres flow organically, yet never muddy the distinctive atmosphere – both industrial and dreamy – present throughout the recording.
