“Enigma” is an orchestral work that unfolds an immersive and ever-evolving sonic narrative. From an initial pedal note, like a soft whisper, emerges a harmony that shifts in timbre and texture, weaving an intriguing and evocative sonic landscape. At its climax, an ethereal melody rises and unfolds, contrasting and then merging with the surrounding harmony. The sound layers build and transform, creating an atmosphere in constant expansion. The melodies multiply and intertwine across the orchestra, guiding the listener towards a warm and enigmatic conclusion.

Enigma Gabriel Kauer

“Haumea” is a piece for flute and electronics, whose sonic imagination is inspired by the dwarf planet of the same name —an elliptical, fast-spinning celestial body located in the distant Kuiper Belt. The piece unfolds as a sustained exploration of the flute’s timbral nuances, giving rise to a range of delicate and carefully shaped sonic colors. The electronics, built entirely from recordings of the instrument itself, extend and transform its acoustic footprint into suspended textures, filtered resonances, and expanding atmospheres. The interplay between both layers creates an immersive listening experience, where rotation, distance, and remoteness outline an imaginary and far-off sonic geography.

LOS TÚNELES 
Las flautas graves no son tubos sonoros. Son túneles o alcantarillas que suenan. E historias que resuenan. La del final de Harry Lime. Las de los doctores Newman y Phillips. La de Juan Pablo Castel. 
Pero a diferencia de éste último, los túneles se cruzan. 
Desde otros tiempos y espacios siguen sonando los gritos, los pasos, las balas, los trenes. En los extremos hay luz. Dicen. Pero es de noche.
