-GABRIEL- is a selector from Rome who recently joined the Berlin scene. Immersed in Rome’s underground from a young age, he has a past with vinyl-only soul, funk, and reggae music selections for various events and gigs in the Italian Capital.

Nowadays, -GABRIEL- mixes 70s disco, 80s early house, and 90s deep & garage house, from iconic labels such as Prelude, Salsoul, Trax, and Strictly Rhythm. He also always keeps an eye out for modern house releases.

His sets have a classic flavour with the prominent presence of soul vocals, echoed dubs, and a focus on the historical exploration of different genres.

This is a lo-fi recording made with the external mics of my Tascam DR-40X so you can hear some funny voices from the crowd in the background. 
I played a selection of strictly 80s club bangers from the 80s New York post-disco era and early Chicago House period, vinyl only.
