Finally available, the long-awaited remix I did with Ché Wilson of Gabriels' contemporary classic, ‘Love And Hate In A Different Time’. Full-Length Remix, plus shorter version (which appeared on the Deluxe CD of Gabriels' 'Angels & Queens' album earlier this year.

Given the track’s funk flavour, we decided a mid-70s disco approach was a logical next step, the change of groove geared to the clubs, but allowing us to stay true to the original. I’m referring to disco from when it was still overwhelmingly the domain of black music, growing from soul and funk, before the European influence came into play – so hopefully we’ve caught a touch of that essence.

Sol Selectas embarks on its sixth annual summer voyage to present the much anticipated Summer Sol VI compilation.
Blending organic sounds and traditional instruments with electronic textures and trippy synth lines, this eclectic release spans from downtempo electronica to atmospheric deep house with a melodic groove.
Each year Sabo collects the finest tracks he can find from across the world and releases them on the day of the summer solstice, which is the year’s longest day of sunlight.
With a tight-knit family built around the label, Summer Sol is also a welcoming party for many of the artists who are joining the community. Those making their Sol Selectas debut this year include the likes of DJ Chus, Balam, La Payara, The Scumfrog, KÖNI, and Depart.
It also welcomes back familiar faces such as Dandara, Amine K, Giovanny Aparacio, Mula, Amentia, Chambord and Sabo himself as the party host.
Under the sun’s rays we are all equal, regardless of skin colour, gender or sexuality, and this release is a celebration of the music that overcomes diversity to bring people together.
Each of the tracks has its own story and is a little ray of sunshine to warm the mind, body and soul. This year’s release features tracks with roots in Mexico, USA, Spain, Mali, Turkey, Colombia, France, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Morocco, Ukraine, Chile, Netherlands, UAE, Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Armenia, and Australia.
Separately each of the artists on this EP has featured on other labels such as Get Physical, Bar 25 Music, Akbal Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Pipe & Pochet, Magician On Duty, A Tribe Called Kotori, 3000 Grad Records and many others of equal note.
The music drifts from coast to coast, across several mountain ranges, deserts dunes, and salty oceans, spanning years of generational influences. The tempos, melodies, and rhythmic combinations take us from chill out, to groove, tribal, afro, and to deep. We hope this music inspires, and carries you on a worldwide tour.
The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us to a parallel dimension lit by the frequencies and energy of the SOL.

This mix includes the last releases by London born, Berlin living Cody Currie as well as Munich disco house twins COEO (Toy Tonics family members since day 1). You can hear 2 futuristic broken beat tracks by London’s Athlete Whippet as well as Italian disco don Sam Ruffillo (the Musumeci remix!). 
Check also our new German live disco duo GOME and the two tracks by american born, Berlin living keyboarder and producer Joel Holmes. Remixes by Sworn Virgins, Joe Claussell, Jex Opolis (for our new artist Digital Ivan from Moskau)included too.
Of course the mix also includes tracks from our Mushroom House compilation. We re-released 12 of the Mushroom tracks on a 2LP vinyl last year. (Mushroom House is a series of EPs with cosmic afro indie dance tracks we released since 2016).

LA based, London found label all my thoughts join forces with Flau Records of Tokyo for a collaborative release, featuring Flau label founder aus, who producers original cut ‘Until Then’, with Seb Wildblood stepping up to remix the track. The release represents an exchange of sounds and perspectives and is the first collaboration of its kind for both labels.

The original works from https://soundcloud.com/a-u-s arrives as a rich blend of instrumentation coming from a plethora of global influences. Unique vocals partner with deep synth swells and a chugging percussive groove. Seb Wildblood follows upping the energy with rolling hi hats and added synth work before sprinkling a dusting of acid as the remix evolves further onto the dance floor.

Hypersex is a collective love letter to the club culture. We believe we can dance our way to a better world. A world with room for everyone, regardless of their origin, political views, race, religion, gender, and sexuality.
Much like hypertext is a system designed to multiply connections between ideas, “Hypersex” was designed to multiply connections between people. It’s also a metaphor for the dancefloor: a place where, throughout history, we came together and created something new.
When I started working on it in 2016, an unprecedented refugee crisis was happening and Europe was turning its back on it. In the US, a massacre had just taken place in a gay nightclub in Orlando and the country was getting ready to elect Donald Trump. I had to respond. So I reached out to like-minded artists I admired, and set out to create my most collaborative project yet.
Hypersex is truly a collaborative effort: it features songs with Fritz Helder, Best Youth, Iwona of Rebeka, Georgia Anne Muldrow, DA CHICK, Marta Ren, Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro, Shermar Davis and Tee Flowers. The artwork is by Bráulio Amado, who I have been working with in all my albums, and whom I involved to the point of naming songs according to his illustration ideas, and not just the usual opposite. Videos were made by filmmakers Bruno Ferreira, Nuno Xico, João Pedro Vale and Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, Paco Cruz and more to come, and also a fanzine with a dozen guest illustrators which we’ll unveil very soon.
The world we live in is getting sadder and grey. We don’t expect to change it with a record, but we might as well add some color to it.
