Capturing the sweetness and softness of a Chamber Strings section has long been a dream of ours. Recorded in collaboration with our friend Jasper Blunk from Performance Samples, we have now made that dream a reality.

Dolce is our definitive romantic Chamber Strings library, with 7 1st Violins, 5 2nd Violins, 4 Violas, 3 Celli, and 3 Double Basses.

We selected our favourite players all of whom we've worked with on many other projects and recorded a large selection of articulations to really offer something that will be a well-rounded tool in your arsenal.

With meticulous attention to detail, we've created a truly wonderful tool that offers a rich and romantic sound, perfect for capturing the finer nuances of your compositions.

Dolce was recorded in the same room as Fluid Woods, Fluid Brass, and Performance Samples’ Pacific series, and captures the same warm, romantic signature that sits perfectly between the symphonic and grand sound that you get with Pacific, and the more pointed and lush Hollywood type of sound that you get within our orchestral range.

With 4 mics and 2 mixes, as well as all 5 individual sections of the ensemble available plus a complete set of ensemble patches, Dolce provides ultimate dexterity and ease to your writing process.

The album’s rich, atmospheric soundscape, featuring melancholy electronic tones, smooth analog textures, and deep, psychedelic elements, is ideal for deep listening or as a dynamic film soundtrack. Along with its dark ambient compositions featuring droning sounds and subtle tone shifts, mood is emphasized above melody or rhythm, capturing emotions of unease, mystery, and isolation. The Netherlands boasts the diverse talents of CausaliDox, an artist skilled in photography, writing, composing, and filmmaking. With academic training in literature, philosophy, and audiovisual design, he has developed a broad skill set covering scriptwriting, directing, and editing. Over the years, CausaliDox has built an impressive portfolio that includes short films, music videos, commercials, documentaries, and commissioned photography. As a self-taught producer and sound engineer, he creates distinctive music across various genres—from industrial IDM to synthpop—under pseudonyms like CausaliDox, sonOnos, TriggerRat, and Bob Knutton. His work has been featured on labels like Kaos Ex Machina and Shipwrec, and he marks the 20th anniversary of his musical journey in 2025.

Born in 1985 and raised in the south of France, Gabriel Saban is a multi award-winning composer and music producer, Paris-based. He followed a long classical training in both piano and clarinet in a music academy. In 2006, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris on the course ‘Formation Supérieure aux Métiers du Son’. While studying at the CNSMDP, Gabriel also trained and qualified in Scoring and Arrangement.

He began his career as a composer in 2010. In 2017, he launched 'Cézame Trailers' with Frédéric Leibovitz, the new Cézame Music label and he founded ‘Infinity Scores’ in 2021. He won three Mark Awards in 2022 in 'Best Trailer Track of the Year', 'Best Latin Track of the Year' and 'Best Suspense Track of the Year' categories.
He won a Mark Award in 2023 in 'Best Suspense/Tension Track of the Year' category and a Music + Sound Award in ‘Best Use of Production Music in a Video Game Trailer/Promo’ category.

Gabriel's music is heard every day in trailers (Oppenheimer, Frozen 2, Avengers, Dune Part 2, Wednesday, Incredibles, Star Wars, Locke and Key, Don’t Look Up, Killers of the Flower Moon, Onward, Knives Out, ...), advertisings (Disneyland Paris, Nestlé, Dior, Mercedes-Benz, Indeed, Huawei, Burger King, Coca-Cola, Disney+, Apple TV+, ...), TV shows, shows (The Illusionists), documentaries, and major sporting events worldwide.
