Deep space acid track recorded live at Midwest Fresh halloween 2015 with Justin Long

found halloween mix

Pulsating distorted  twisted rhythms. Recorded live using loops I grabbed from vinyl with my xone db2. Tr8 for my drums with additional drums made from field recordings of me banging on various metal objects in a warehouse we used to throw parties in. The low leviathan bass rumbles and mid tone growls are my volca beats being ran through a monotron delay. Also kaos pad 2 & 3 used for additional effects and synth chirps and burbles. Volca kick for additional sub bass.

Dramatic Synthesizers

melancholy yet warm sounds punctuated by mutant steel drums. pulsing devious bass lines slither between junkyard hi hats & 808 toms. phantom chords appear mid air and dissipate into the ether. ghost flutes whispering dark nothings into the ear. vocal samples almost warning us about it's hypnotic nature.
