Sam Sine, an American music artist raised in Paris France, has been writing and producing music for media such as TV pilots, commercials, documentaries and independent short-movies as well as recording, producing and engineering songs for other artists. He also performed a few of his original tracks and is currently working on his debut album.

In 2011, Sam won the Best Composition Sonokinetic Award for his track “The Forbidden Tomb” and, in 2015, won the Indaba Songwriting Award for “A Thousand Miles” – a track written, produced, performed, mixed and mastered by himself.

Sam started his musical journey as a drummer in France. While spending time with his drum teacher in recording studios, he became intrigued by the technical aspects of mixing and mastering, and decided to learn more. With the help of video tutorials and books from accomplished engineers, he quickly gained knowledge and perfected it by assisting a friend during mixing sessions. In the meantime, he still expanded his interest for playing various instruments before discovering a passion for writing original music. “I’ve never had academic music training” states Sam. “Everything I create is done instinctively, as if coming from my soul”

Originally drawn, at an early age, to music from the Romantic era (1800-1880), Sam has since grown to appreciate many genres of music, which gives him the foundation and liberty to create music inspired by a broad range of influences and, consequently, to express his creativity through different styles as well. “Often, music artists are expected to categorize themselves into one particular genre” remarks Sam. “Restricting my creativity to this expectation would not be fulfilling. It would be like seeing the world in only one color. I love embracing cultures from around the globe and it definitely translates onto my work. Creating and producing music in many genres allows to characterize myself, depict different moods that we go through during our lifetime and, ultimately, pay tribute to artistic diversity”

Ultimately, as an artist, Sam likes to create music as a vessel to convey emotions or committed messages in hope of touching people’s hearts.

The Joe Strummer Foundation is a registered charity that aims to create new opportunities for aspiring musicians.

Set up by the friends and family of Joe Strummer in the year after his death, the charity seeks to reflect Joe's unique contribution to the music world by offering support, resources and performance opportunities to artists who would not normally have access to them.

Who believes in earnest songwriting and draws on all things musical, regardless of genre. The Troubadour Pariah believes in a dedicated work ethic, and also in the necessity of involving his own two hands. 

The Troubadour Pariah employs the do-it-yourself aesthetics of post-punk underground hip-hop to create a kaleidoscopic musical style that is pasted together from disparate elements of the past and present by someone with a clear appreciation for ALL the myriad forms of music that exist. And so; is therefore not only limited to one format or specific combination of styles. 

The Troubadour Pariah is for sexual empowerment, not misogyny or exploitation. And further more, believes that the inherently awesome power of sexual expression has profoundly affected the trajectory of our species mental evolution, to produce such seemingly strong manifestations as art and music. 

The Troubadour Pariah supports the right to speak freely without censorship or limitation, and complete freedom of expression; even views which could be considered unfavourable (i.e. Stalin or Hitler). And holds that the ability to seek and recieve information and ideas is a basic human right to be exercised by all without hindrance by governing bodies. 

The Troubadour Pariah is in person the outcome of many manifold prismatic descendants, the substantiation of  which has spawned an impeccable yet flawed anthropoid; an indistinct human mosaic unbound by cultural restriction. A mesmerizing aura that borders on ambivalent lunacy, a state of mind which is both hated and loved simultaneously. 

When all is said and done, The Troubadour Pariah is completely unpredictable. A bit moody and haphazard, and at times even sensitive.
