We come to Bite Size Moments single #24 and this time we have a beauty produced by GooMar, holding it down in Paris, France. GooMar came with a very bouncy and uptempo entitled 'S.N.S.T', which translates to "She Never Stops Talking". This one is heavy on the Jazz and feel good music tip, and feels pretty infectious on the mood. at least we thoughts so!

Eight years in and over 50 albums deep, several members of The Jazz Jousters collective are still game to take on our challenges and test themselves. On this occasion allow us to present 'Sidenote: Pulling Strings'.

The concept behind this one was based on the Jousters being challenged to sample (or compose) any string based instrument. We could have gone for one or another, but the idea was to keep it open to a range of stringed instruments for a more varied sound. Press play, peep the line up, and hear how it went down with just under 40mins play time.

We arrive at track #25 in our single sessions and this time we're jamming with the Montreal based composer and multi instrumentalist Téhu. 'Twenty Years In' is a fully composed Jazz based instrumental with some lightly laid Hip Hop style drums laced with Piano, Organs and Guitars. All of which was played live in the studio and recorded to track then finally topped with a few cuts, also done by Téhu on the turntables. We hope you enjoy!!

For those that don't know, the FakeHunters have been on the scene for some time and producing some real good Hip Hop Jazz in the process. We've been fans of theirs since they dropped their 'Blue Soul' LP in 2009, which is simply a classic in our neck of the woods. 

Now we're pleased to say the squad is a part of the MJM family and you can hear their work on various projects dating back to 2018 from The Jazz Jousters to Pardon My French in our On Th Radar series, and no doubt several other future MJM releases. For now we hope you like 'Hint of Blue'.

A Guyanese/Dominican born and raised in North London and now residing in a secret location known as Gadgistan. Born into both a musical family and community where music was always around and became Gadget's first love at a very young age. Besides dabbling with instruments and production equipment left around by his father or brother, Gadget became a young DJ/MC in the underground rave scene and was often a favourite at various showcases, party nights and radio stations. He began to get deeper into production and started building his own studio in order to take out the "needing favours" element, and he has never looked back since. Gadget is now a self taught Sound Engineer, Producer, Vocal Artist, Ghost Writer, DnB DJ, occasional promoter, founder and project manager of the Jazz Jousters collective and the @MillenniumJazz Music label.
