“We shall never surrender” - never never never give up, When a hostile nation tries to overrule your country. What’s happening in Ukraine in the last 2 years is incomprehensible - in 2024. 

When Zelenskyy today is speaking to the world about the Ukraines right to defend themselves - it’s like an echo from When Winston Churchill - the British Prime Minister delivered his speech "We shall fight on the beaches" to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on 4 June 1940.

Have we learnt nothing from history ? Why war in Europe again  ? For a legacy ? For an old man ? for the people of the aggressive nation ? For No reason at all ? What is next, if we do nothing ?

I recorded a melody on my uke and I thought it might be nice with a female vocal. I added some oohs and doo doo's for the basic melody I had in mind and sent it to Anne Cozean and asked her if she would be interested in writing some words and singing on it. I love Annes voice and was thrilled when she said she would do it. She sent it back quite quickly .... a lovely track with words that fit perfectly with the melody. And I had a blast singing all the harmonies..
