A pretentious arsehole with no discernible musical talent my Mew-Sick is experimental with the emphasis on mental. I tend to hand stitch the samples together rarely using a sequencer. The samples are generally speech and heavily “treated”. I like the way repeated words will change to new words as you listen. When I was 13 I would spend hours listening to story records my 3 year old sister had, they ran at 78 rpm, I would play them at 16 rpm (can't do that with a cd).

Arjun Apu is Arjun Dev from Perpignon , France.
From a very young age Apu has lived between France & Goa where he discovered Psytrance culture and music. During his childhood ad early years he was influenced by psychedelic rock from the 70’s and the early days of techno music. In 2008 his curiosity lead him to have a go at DJing and also at music production. A year later he joined the infamous “Shandi Circle crew” based in the south of France who organise psytrance parties. This gave him an opportunity to start his Djing career at parties across Europe and Asia. His Dj sets and musical inspiration comes from psytrance artists like EVP, Farebi Jalebi, Southwild, Harmonic Rebel, Whiptongue and Petran to name a few.

My project code name is "The Galactic Empath".

This is the station for outgoing the tunes of my project.
On the other hand, I started the another project "The Galactic Blue's" with Grey Blue also known as Khomken.
The first release that should commemorate it has been included in the compilation album of Speedsound Records.
My sound is inspired by trance (progressive / psychedelic / uplifting / euphoric), house, techno, and many other music.

Bio:

Belgian producer Olivier Decroix aka A Robot Comes To Her fell in love with Electronic Music when listening to the 90's French radio broadcast Cybertrance at the age of 15, and reading the Outsoon techno magazine. 
While listening to Bonzai, Sven Vath, and Aurora Borealis tunes he began to play bass guitar in a metal band, but quickly got hooked by the power of electronic music, became a huge fan of EBM, Krautrock and Acid Rock.

When he played in a Trip Hop band he started to discover the possibilities of synthesizers like the Juno 106 and Minikorg that he stood alongside and later learned to play Blues & Jazz, in a Funk one. In 2000, he went to his first parties in Brussels’ dancing on D’n'B, Techno or Elektro. 
He began to experiment with an oldschool Roland TR-626 drum-machine & software synths, and his first tracks sounded like Electropop. In 2007, after being sucked in to Cold Wave and Industrial sounds, he moved to France to live with his extraterrestrial fairytale-like girlfriend MKZ, who inspired him to go back to his Goa, Techno roots!

This project reflects his principal influences, which are psychedelic, Goa and Acid Trance on the one side, Trance & Progressive Trance, House and Breaks from the past to nowadays on the other one.

A Robot Comes To Her gives importance to ambiance and feelings, he likes to immerse the listeners into a deep sense of supernatural & emotional landscapes, borne out of groovy beats, sometimes with a housey feeling, sometimes more sustained, with a pinch of acid and a lot of romantic pads, inspired by what he enjoys the most, nature, future, love and dreams.
After having released his three first EP's on John 00 Fleming & Airwave's L*C*D Recordings label: Tree House, Little Folk and A Deeper Blue, his debut Progressive Breaks "Golden Age Legacy/ Idoru [?] on UK Break Wind Productions label and his fourth one, Fading Spiral, featuring Spinney Lainey who wrote and played the flute parts on the eponym track, plus a remix of her track "Flow", came out on Powerhouse Records/ Geomagnetic, both in the beginning of 2016.

Il joua dans un groupe de Trip-Hop, ce fut l'occasion pour lui de se familiariser avec les possibilités des synthétiseurs ( comme le Juno 106 et le Minikorg qu'il cotoya) et plus tard, apprenant le Blues et le Jazz; dans un groupe de Funk. une boîte à rythme oldschool Roland TR-626 et des logiciels de synthétiseurs, et ses premiers tracks sonnaient plutôt Electropop.
En 2007, après avoir été aspiré par la Coldwave et l'Indus, il vint en France pour vivre avec sa compagne mi-fée mi-extraterrestre MKZ, qui le fit retourner vers ses racines Techno et Goa!
