▼ Falling deep already has something pejorative about it, right?

There it is again, that colorless coldness.
Feels like an old friend.
Almost familiar, the way the Colt is pointed at the back of my head.
Almost like home. But something is different.

I know this faceless shadow.
A shared experience that has revealed pain as hope.
Once a silent companion on my tightrope.
More like a leech consuming me. Parasite!
However forced, to what itself not been able. Looking back, quite a raison d'être.
Only not now! But when else?

No sight in the fog. I go slowly ahead.
But I feel clearly;
My death, the pain, the fear, the decay, their grief, my failure.

The barrel of the Colt is pointed rigidly and calmly in my direction.
Almost as if there is nothing there but me and my dubious perception.
"Don't stop." So I tell to myself, stepping into the void.

I fall. But where to?
Everything happens so fast and my heart beats up to my neck.
The dense fog takes away my orientation and I fall even deeper into the unknown.

The next moment makes me think I would surely drown and I struggle for air.
I have never breathed such clean air.

Then I realize:
After the fall comes the awakening.

▼ Tief fallen hat schon etwas Abwertendes, oder?

Da ist sie wieder, diese farblose Kälte. 
Fühlt sich an, wie ein alter Freund.
Fast schon vertraut, wie der Colt auf mein Hinterkopf gerichtet ist.
Fast schon wie eine Heimat. Doch irgendetwas ist anders.

Ich kenne diesen gesichtslosen Schatten. 
Eine gemeinsame Erfahrung die Schmerz als Hoffnung enthüllt hat.
Einst ein stiller Begleiter auf meinem Drahtseil.
Eher wie ein sich von mir verzehrender Blutegel. Parasit!
Jedoch gezwungen, wozu selbst nicht fähig gewesen. Rückblickend, durchaus eine Daseinsberechtigung. 
Nur nicht jetzt! Aber wann sonst?

Keine Sicht im Nebel. Ich gehe langsam voran.  
Doch ich fühle klar;
Meinen Tod, den Schmerz, die Angst, den Verfall, ihre Trauer, mein Versagen.

Der Lauf des Colts ist starr und ruhig in meine Richtung gerichtet.  
Fast schon als wäre da nichts, außer mir und meiner zweifelhaften Wahrnehmung. 
"Nicht stehen bleiben". Sage ich mir trete dabei ins Leere.

Ich Falle. Doch wohin?
Alles geht so schnell und mein Herz schlägt mir bis zum Hals.
Der dichte Nebel nimmt mir die Orientierung und ich falle  noch tiefer ins Ungewisse.

Der nächste Moment lässt mich glaube machen ich würde sicher ertrinken und ich ringe nach Luft.
Hab noch nie so saubere Luft geatmet.

Dann wird mir bewusst: 
Nach dem Fall kommt das Erwachen.
