After the second VA, it’s time for the 27th EP of the label. On this release the Italian duo Anticyclone are making their banging debut. They bring to you three euphoric and dancefloor orientated originals, with a high-energy atmosphere throughout the whole EP. 

The first track is called ‘A Dream’ and already starts off pretty firm. On top of a solid lower part the harmonious pads are rising up. Out of these pads a euphoric one-shot vocal is coming to the front, brining you into a dream. This ecstasy which got strengthen by the harsh, but on the other hand subtle, percussion. 

The title track ‘Highlands’ goes through on the same level as the previous track, but with an even more punchy kick underneath. During the first break the tension gets already really high, after which a high vocal chord develops itself towards the second intermission. At the begin of this break the energy gets lowered, to build it up again towards the highest peak of the whole EP. Also here, the precise warehouse percussions are a remarkable essential.

‘Valdivia’ is the final track of this EP. The emotional atmosphere gets preserved and also the characteristic elements of Anticyclone are coming back again. It’s a big club, track which brings a powerful end to this heavenly collection of tracks.

Opening up the month of September in style, Astral Records presents the first installment of their Celestial' series. These VA collections will stretch across the globe searching out the finest untapped talent along with industry veterans. With a concise approach the label explores a full spectrum of melodic house and techno, with an emphasis on the astral qualities that has made the genre appealing to many. Wrapped up in this five-track journey is a veritable smorgasbord of beats and melodies that are sure to delight the senses. Featured on the first installment are (in order of appearance) Asonanete, Ta'kaam, Leghet, Bruno Longhitano and Jickow.

Rounding out the release is Movement Recordings artist Jickow who debuts on the label with Nautilus'. Jickow takes the quality over quantity approach, taking time to perfect his craft and choosing his projects wisely, with Beatfreak, Frequenza and Pursuit being landing spots for his fresh take on melodic house and techno. Recently finding a home on parent label Movement Recordings with the July release of Run and Jump', Jickow now lands on Astral with the stellar sounds of Nautilus'. It's tough, pulsating groove is perfectly carved, adorned with dynamic drums, waves of percussion and compelling cosmic artefacts. Concise at under six minutes in length, its melodic prowess proves irresistible, with emotive pads and fluttery motifs setting the course for an enlightening break and exhilarating finale. Perfectly dialled for the dance floor it caps off the release on a high note and makes for a memorable first installment of Celestial'

We are proud to welcome Italian duo Di Sabato & No Rush to sequence music. They make their label debut alongside Opposite Ways. 

Evoo explores the deeper more progressive side of techno - built upon a driving synth that evolves throughout, taking the ears on a journey. The remix gives Evoo a more melodic direction, picking up subtle hints of the original - blended perfectly with that signature Opposite Ways sound.
