ecstatic dance Tel aviv - 18.1.22 - maayan rahamim

This was the opening ecstatic dance of desert festival Midbar in Southern Israel. Not knowing that a war was gonna break out on the last day of the festival. Felt like the Spirit of Desert called us to strengthen our bonds and loving presence as a global community. We were dancing and singing, creating a healing container for entire world and turned out that we were getting ready in our hearts for what was coming up.

May the dance medicine hold us in peace, love and unity.

This set was designed to be a blast to drop the stories, to shake the excessive energy and to come to simplicity by rooting down to the Earth.. 
Contains a lot of high beat, ups and downs, reaching to the Spirits various ways and concluding with poetic desert tales leading to the Divine Love.

This was an opening opening portal to hold us during the entire festival and this was our opening prayer;

I ask for divine blessing
so that my creations may be 
expressions of true spiritual light, 
bringing assistance to this world. 
I give thanks for the gift of my creativity
and of my ability 
to feel and know the light. 
May this light dwell fully alive within me, 
inspiring my creativity 
so that l am a source of loving radiance 
for all beings in this world. 
May joy always be at home in my heart. 
Through my own free will, 
so be it.

A very random, full-of-surprises, kinda set.
In a big house just a few minutes from my own, some friends hosted an escapist(ic) Christmas party.
I didn't prepare anything in advance, so it started with checking out the water's temperature with some sexy downtempo, which went up and up until it was time to pass the torch to my colleague.
