Let's talk about it for a second:
The current situation in Israel is serious.
DEAD serious.
In fact, it's gotten SO serious - that I simply HAVE to make fun of it!
As for me, I prefer doing it through music.

This here is an Ecstatic Dance that is very unusual, almost absurd, probably bathos-esque, yet VERY serious in its own way.
Cuz life is serious. 
So why not make it less so?

I came back quite sick from supporting a heart-boggling retreat about 24 hours before this set.
Already at the soundcheck, we discovered that something was faulty with the sound, so I had to play the set w/o the monitor.
After about 25 minutes into the set, something else went wrong with the sound that came out of the speakers.
I let it all crash and burn, and tried to make the most out of the situation. Notice the sloppy mixing in some of the places, I left it as it is, I didn't try to beautify anything. 
Hey, that's life, right?

It was pretty weird to come back and DJ in those hallucinated days we're experiencing here in Israel.
This time it was 20+ people at 10 am, all of them coming with their own excess baggage.
By the end of the 1st hour, a few of them were crying their eyeballs and yelling at the top of their lungs.
So I guess I managed to channel what was needed.

My 1st time arriving at the Mecca of Ecstatic Dance Israel - Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel Aviv.
I've had a few dozens of dancers, willing to commit to my sounds, and boy - what a journey it was!
From deep sorrow to peaks of giggling, this set (almost) had it all...

It's a venue I've had the pleasure of playing many times, not only in Ecstatic.

An Ecstatic Dance set I played at a Digital Detox Gathering, aiming and winking at everyone's inner children, with a lot of references to kid's music.

P.S.
The set was played at a geodesic dome with a weird-ass acoustics and no monitor whatsoever, hence some of the mix blunders. Hope you'll enjoy it either way!

Sweet (Inner) Child O'Mine! // Simple Being Digital Detox Gathering @ Natur Farm // 31.7.25

An international, Israel-based DJ, playing mainly Globaltronica (Electronic Tribal World Music), Ecstatic Dance, and Templesque music.
Has been doing so for the past 20+ years in festivals, "burns", private events (such as weddings and funerals), clubs, and other venues.
