DECENNIUM06 - /DL/MS/ (Frustrated Funk, TRUST)

The 6th edition of our DECENNIUM series comes courtesy of Dan Lodig and Martin Sovinz, better known collectively as /DL/MS/.

The Viennese pair started self-releasing original Techno and Electro on their own Pomelo label in 2016, which led to attention from some of the elite producers and labels around Europe.  They have since released a string of quality EP's via heavyweight label TRUST, and via Electro royals Frustrated Funk, which have cemented their reputable status in the scene.

As well as running their new label Vigram, you can find /DL/MS/ performing their reputable live set around the Vienna circuit and beyond. For their DECENNIUM set they have produced a rare DJ set, planned and mastered as meticulously as their live set. The track list is a thing of beauty, with unrestricted twists and turns from Electro, Detroit and Ghetto-Tech, to Techno, Acid and Breaks. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Keep your ears to the ground for @dl-ms future movements.

2020 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the public as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the course of the year. With a newfound buzz surrounding my beloved genre, I'm hardly keeping up! I feel like It was a busy year both production-wise and promotion-wise for @DVSNME and @DarkScienceElectro respectively, however, I found some time to put together a mix of my favorite 32 tracks from 2020. It's a true pleasure to welcome @cygnus to the series, a key figure in the electro scene in Dallas and an artist we've been following for some time. There's no question in the quality of his work with releases on @craigie-knowes, @cpurecords, Barba Records (@burek), as well as his own Biosoft Records. His quality is only mirrored by his productivity, with a substantial amount of excellent and mature releases for an artist so young.
