@ldyosc is a musician and computer/electronics engineer, who was born in Mexico and grew up on the border in Laredo, Texas. Her vinyl discography began in 2018 with an EP on The Bunker New York. In 2019, an LP on Swedish label Kontra-Musik. The following EP in 2021 was on SF label Squirrels on Film. In 2022, her track “Suave Duro” was released on a VA on Prague’s LTE Records. Over the years she has also released music digitally and on tape. LDY OSC uses synthesis, rhythm & voice to conjure layered compositions that draw from techno, electro, & underground synth-wave.

Originating from Italy and Indonesia, Tempestfeather is a music selector and writer based in Berlin.

Growing up between Europe, Asia, and Africa, Tempestfeather developed a flair for wideranging and nuanced storytelling. Exposed to an idiosyncratic blend of cultures, she cultivated an early interest in rhythm and sound— both musically and linguistically. After training in classical guitar and performing as a vocalist in rock bands, she explored the realm of electronic music, honing her craft as a DJ — and never looked back.

As a music selector, her sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London and refined in Berlin.

Drawing on a diverse range of influences, Tempestfeather’s DJ sets blend tempos and style in a polychromatic, textured sonic experience — leaning towards a left-field, bass-heavy sound that is
not bound by genres.

In May 2022, she debuted on the infamous Hör Berlin for the label Mother’s Finest. She also played across Berlin, Munich and Leipzig, at venues including Mjut, Repeat and Minimal Bar — notably warming the floor for the likes of Objekt and Hodge at OXI.

Berlin-based artist Werner Soyeaux under his stage name Bläck Dävil is a core part of the Berlin collective Ick Mach Welle. Schnäll Schnäll is his debut solo artist EP on Killekill, with own productions accompanied by collaborations with Bettina and DJ Normal 4, alongside remixes by Rhyw and Gesloten Cirkel. The EP opens with the dark intro Alptraum, which Gesloten Cirkel transforms into an ill-tempered acid-electro monster. The title track Schnäll Schnäll provides a stark contrast to these, with bright overtones existing alongside deeply rooted sonic bedrock. Rhyw adds a level of abstraction and futurism with his remix of this track, whilst retaining the dub-influenced vibe of the original. Following on from this Geldschere is collaboration with Düsseldorf artist DJ Normal 4, with Bläck Dävil contributing his own lyrics and voice, to create a track that could be fittingly described as “Acid Punk Rock”! The final track on the release is a cheeky ode to the Ick Mach Welle family. Here the Dävil's passion for Hardtekk, Gabber and similar rough styles of music become clear.

Starting off our summer season is United Identities resident Thrills in +41. He has been making a steady name for himself since 2021, releasing music on Carista's United Identities and Who’s Susan in that same year. He is constantly evolving his signature style of psyched-out electro, bass, and spacey techno. His Primal X EP was released on the United Identities label last month and, true to its name, leans into a distinctive, primal dancefloor energy. For the first EP release of the series, Thrills in +41 blends rhythm and repetition using an extensive sound palette from both the 90s and early 00s. The series has already gained support from Anz, Dax J, Giant Swan, Ben UFO, Rhyw, I. Jordan, MCMLXXXV (Herrensauna), Bake, Dax J, OM Unit Jennifer Cardini, Emerald (Rinse FM), Danielle, Chloe Robinson, Kikelomo, Elisa Bee en Jeff Solo. His hour-long session is a live recording from the Freaky Dancing party in club WAS in Utrecht. Lock in!

We're incredibly pleased to welcome Dissemblance to the GF series. She is a very talented and poetic artist that the entire GF team have been following for a while and had the pleasure of meeting in person at Intergalactic FM fest this year. You can check her lauded album “Centauresse” on the mighty L.I.E.S. records, following up her 2019 debut album "Over The Sand" for Mannequin Records. Her productions bring a variety of sounds and invite us to explore the full range of her musical dynamics, leading the listener into her universe where the border between dreams and reality blurs into one, with no tangible beginning or end. If you happen to be in Paris on Friday, December 8th, do not miss her Dissemblance Live at Petit Bain to enjoy the full experience. For the series, she has crafted a special session where she gives us a unique and magical mix out of her studio in Paris, incorporating exclusive vocals and Rhodes improvisations over 80 beautiful minutes of thoughtful and sensory music. She plays tracks from the 80s: Schleimer K, DZ Lectric & Anthon Shield, taking a funky turn with Girl Unit, to arrive to some dirty acid music by Beverly Hills 808303, ending with a solo rough Rhodes impro through the Moog Cluster Flux pedal. The series rages on this week with none other than Randstad! He is a producer and DJ alias of multidisciplinary artist Thomas van Linge. Aside from his many killer releases on the likes of Veyl, Pinkman Body Musick and many others, he is also the co-founder of well known labels such as BAKK, RUBBER, and the PLAFOND series. Although he is well known for his electro and EBM compositions, his talent and acumen know no bounds with more recent releases colouring outside of these lines. He's assembled a weaponry of tehcno bangers for the GF series with tracks by Stranger, Fresko, Lenson, Anetha, Peder Mannerfelt, Oscar Mulero, Schwefelgelb, Manny Dee, and many other. Lock - IN!

We continue the GF series this week with one of the pillars of the Dutch electro scene, none other than DJ Overdose. Hailing from The Hague and based in Rotterdam, his story starts in the eighties. His vision was to create a vibe “where the subs are devastating and the beats are raw". He underpins his work with booming Miami bass and draws on his love for 80s hip-hop to conjure up his signature style. He's etched his mark on deeply loved and respected labels such as L.I.E.S., Creme Organization, Bordello A Parigi, Pinkman, Viewlexx, Murder Capital, his own RotterHague, and many others. Famously dexterous in the booth, DJ Overdose has well-honed skills that make him able to tear up a larger stage or connect with a more intimate crowd. He graces this series with a two-and-a-half-hour live recording at the Down The Rabbit Hole festival. Lock in!'

The GF series is back this week with Ayshel. The young, Athens-based DJ is part of the Stegi Radio team and hosts her show CALL NOW for over four years. Her show features artists such as Pi Electronics resident Zorz, LVRIN, and others. When she's not playing Athens staples like Astron Bar, which sadly closed, she has been making the rounds at festivals like Healthy Summer Fest and others. Her selections are located somewhere between tribal beats, hypnotic melodies and industrial sounds. Her mix is no exception. Lock in for an hour from one of Athens' hottest up-and-coming DJs.
