Khaorah is a metalcore band from Paris created in june 2008.

The band offers a modern kind of metal both melodic and incisive. Its music is freely inspired from several styles: hardcore, electro samples, metal or post hardcore.Each influence is good to take and gives a special tone to their music.

Armed with a first album released in May 2010, "Maelström", and with lots of gigs to their credit, the band is looking for tour dates to perform on stage and defend their new album.

Steve Rose first began playing the guitar at age 15. Initially his influences were primarily progressive-rock music (e.g., Rush, Genesis). Later he became very interested in Jazz-Rock Fusion (e.g., Pat Metheny, Terje Rypdal). He has played with a number of musicians in-and-around the Montreal area. Having always been a fan of Ambient music (e.g., Steve Roach, Robert Rich), he has now released two independent albums in the genre. 

Consisting of three acoustic guitars, three men and one unique sound, Lyra is the best of up and coming folk. The music of Lyra chronicles the struggles of Aldous Hartright, Carter Fosco and Dorian Fowler to realise the strange, mystical world they inhabit through their shared passion for sweet, harmonic folk. With a planned demo release within the months and several gigs and events upcoming, Lyra are exciting newcomers to the folk scene.
