“When I write my music, I’m telling a story, my story. It usually starts with a scene, vision, dream, an idea or just a photo I have or had in my mind. From there it goes to the unknown”. That was Yotam Oren’s summary to his creative process.

We want to welcome his project IsoQuant to Digital Structures with Random Walker | Pulses release.

Both tracks are abstract and minimalistic and yet full of emotion, each one with it’s individual approach. Yotam’s signature sound and composition are very clear with both tunes, and it’s not reminding us of anything we previously heard… And that’s in many cases a very good sign.

4D - Night Rider - (Liquid Drop Groove 2017)

Reconstruction

The original Dr. Mephisto by Gabi 2B was the last release of the year 2013, and so it happens that the release to sign out 2017 is about two remixes to this track.
Yuli Fershtat uses the original track’s playful madness on top of his signature groovy bottom end.
Sisko Electrofanatik comes up with a very straightforward and driving rework that will easily wreck a havoc at any dance floor.

Yossi’s trademark groovy and playful sound became a frequent visitor on dance floors around the globe, and visited my own label ( Digital Structures ) a few times. I really like the way he does what he does and I think that his remix to Free Cloud shows why. Recently we played at a New Years festival in Guatemala, and witnessed all the dance floor go down while the break of his remix was played. Well done, Yossi!
