This is the live performance of "Flash Of Light" recorded at the May 15th 2022 concert in Berlin's Columbia Halle. The song was originally written and recorded with Luca C & Brigante in 2012, and this recording marks the song's 10th year anniversary.

"This mix is for the friends who jam together. I have at least one dj identity crisis a month because I keep discovering new tracks that sound like nothing I’ve ever heard before - and alas, I want to play them! I find it easiest to experiment when I’m sharing the decks with a buddy, but this time it was just me, so I had to take some chances. The result is a cheeky grab-bag of bouncy baselines, textural percussion, driving electro, trance, and even a ballroom track blended in somewhere. Hope you enjoy :)"

mayalabae is a chicago-raised, montreal-based dj and adventure capitalist spinning a diverse portfolio of electro, breaks, techno, and endless nostalgic pop edits. she owes her electronic music formation to a decade of sleepless nights dancing at montreal's various underground raves - she also hosts a show called deal flow on n10.as radio and curates an ambient sleepover event called s0undbath.
