Dance against the patriarchy! 🧦

Materia Hache troubles and from that troubling makes politics. It is in a permanent search of collective displacement from an individual introspection. It is QUEER, it is TECHNO, it is HOUSE; Since the beginning of 2020 she has been immersed in the search for women and nonbinary producers to give visibility and voice to all those who fight for and to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced.

    Short story about the mix:

"Touch belongs to the order of what is difficult to represent. And the thing is that every sense has a related and isolated organ that we can investigate. In the case of touch, its organ, the largest in the body, is the skin itself. A sense that allows us to establish con-tact ("with-touch") with ourselves and with others; a sense that is always defined in its relationship with. The health crisis that we are experiencing, of never-before-known proportions, has divided bodies and stipulated new politics of contact-no-contact, or of touchability (that new normalized normality). Human geographies and the notion of personal space have mutated and with it what it means to touch. Brushing a skin against another skin seems to have aligned itself with violence and disobedience. It is worth wondering if touching will continue to trigger ethical dilemmas, if it will continue to be a crime monitored and punished, or if distance will make us lose consciousness of our own bodies."

@monopurple is an artist, photographer, merch designer and DJ from Russia. Since 2013 and still living in Germany (Erfurt, Thuringia) she is a part of the local club scene.

monopurple is also one of the main members of Berlin events @transition_bln, doing its visual image alongside DJing for the club nights. As well as her visual oeuvre concentrates her sound selection on "out-of-space" experience and involves mutual mixing of dynamic breaks/electro tunes together with beloved 90s progressive house/trance banger and groovy basslines.

This mix takes off with some rhythmic and deep breakbeat experiences, pulls up through euphoric housey tunes, reaches the point on a couple of darker acid/trance moments and complete this metamorphosis with the enlighten prog trance journey.

ASPRGS - Sacred Wanderlust

@l_eeza has shaped her sound over the years with a preference for fast and broken beats. Her sets and podcasts are always an exciting and energetic journey through the depths of breakbeat, UK sounds, jungle, footwork and straight 4-to-the-floor-sounds. For Galaxunity she mixed more of the ravy, straight tunes with some hard hitting dark breaks and a little bit of Jungle. 

She is one of the co-founders of HOTSHOT. A crew and events series from Leipzig, Germany, which attempts on creating more diverse parties by focusing on a non-male dominated and non-heteronormative Line Up. For their last event at Institut fuer Zukunft, they teamed up with artists from the talented Femme Bass Mafia crew from Berlin and they also invited artists like Lolsnake, Flore, Monster, Coco Cobra and many more in their previous events. Keep an eye out for Leeza and the gigs with her favourite b2b partner Bunny Tsukino (who has also done a mix for us before) and the upcoming HOTSHOT events <3

In 1991, @gaya_kloud began his journey as a DJ, initially in Potsdam, and later expanded to various clubs in Berlin His time spent at Delicious Doughnuts, where Gaya Kloud had a six-year residency, had a profound impact on him. Since then, he's developed a preference for playing sets that span at least four hours.
Throughout his career, he's witnessed a great deal and consistently strived to uphold the values of the early 1990s.
He's made a conscious effort to steer clear of any form of commercialization of techno and house, and he's never been fond of the DJ cult phenomenon. Instead, he remained focused on the music itself, supporting emerging talents and ensuring that electronic music remains connected to funk, jazz, soul, and contemporary art.

@raenjay has been passionate about electronic music since 2009. their sets are as diverse as they are. lale enjoys a sultry downbeat techno set just as much as an aggressive, in-your-face trance-techno track at 160 bpm. as a queer artist, they advocate for more diversity at parties, pushing for lineups that aren't dominated by cisgender men or defined by heteronormativity. lale is dedicated to organizing queer-feminist and solidarity parties, with a special emphasis on events that support victims of sexual harassment, as well as flinta*s who have experienced physical and psychological violence.

"A good friend first showed me how to DJ digitally about three and a half years ago. He was always a role model for me when it came to creating tension and having fun while DJing. In the meantime, I’ve switched to vinyl and, as I’ve noticed, my sound has come full circle. “Clockwork Dub” was one of the first tracks I ever played, and it fits my sets better now than it did back then.

To this day, whenever I plan a set, I think about my friend. I wonder how I would explain to him why this track is coming on now and what vibe it should create, just to see his positive reaction. Only the idea matters, not necessarily how skillfully it’s carried out. RIP Nico <3"

Born and raised at the Lake Constance, Fragile Status began his musical journey about eight years ago in the club scene of Konstanz. What started with organizing Techno/House parties with friends and DJing,  quickly evolved into a deep passion for Vinyl and Hardware such as Synthesizers and Drummachines. Thru these years he build his signature sound which aims to open doors to uncharted unexpected musical territories and genres for his listeners. Techno, Breakbeat, Bass, Ambient, Jungle…..anything can happen.
