Hip-shaking, infectiously groovy ghetto-tech, paired with electro madness is whats on the menu this time, served up by the elusive Cyan85. Hailing from the depths of eastern Germany, Cyan85 has emerged from this industrialised and cold environment with a sound that radiates pure dance energy. Using a variety of vintage-synths and drum machines, he creates a bouncy and energetic machine-funk that stands as a modern take on that classic Detroit style. His production process is one of improvisation at its core, which might help to explain his great versatility in music making, ranging from dreamy downtempo pieces to in-your-face bangers. This mix is a tour-de-force of ghetto-tech and electro, demonstrating that Cyan85 knows how to light the booth on fire.

We begin our celebratory month in an appropriate fashion; originally from Seattle, this firestarter has been a vivid part of the Berlin underground music and rave scene for years, doing the circuit as a DJ, live performer and organizer. Making his debut as a producer in 2022 on Warning with the four track vinyl EP WAR1204. Together with appearances at HÖR and EOS Radio, brought his overdue introduction to a wider audience. 

This mix came together from some particularly memorable moments and blends on the dancefloor that he wanted to bring to the internet. He loved the energy of them and tried to capture it to get people hyped for their day or a night out. And of course, he threw in a few cheeky edits that will see the light of day in July. Keep your eyes peeled!

eves120 has been living in Leipzig, Germany for more than two years now but she grew up in Dresden. 

Her first contact with djing was 2017 at her second home, "Objekt klein a“, which is probably the most beautiful club in east Germany. 

After years of working behind the bar she is happy to be a resident there now. Her sound is characterized by faster house, break beats and electro.
