GALEXI = Cosmic synthpop band, supernova dance music
Influences:  Dead Can Dance, Zero 7, Massive Attack, Tricky, The Brazilian Girls, Thievery Corporation.
For their first singles, the duo released “I Can Feel That(Dance and Chill Groove)” which is reminiscent of Donna Summer’s heavenly disco tune “I Feel Love.” 

Happy For No Reason released their LP, "Take It Higher" on September 30th, 2022. Members: Jo Alexis, songwriter, producer, vocalist; Neil Goldstein, songwriter, guitarist; Mark Pritchard, flute; Dan Schulte, bass; Mark Powers, drums; Mr. E, piano, organ; Tom Vesbit, back-up vocals; Rich Landar, mandolin on Hummingbird Heart; Michelle Alany violin on All That You Do. Alisdair Lee co-producer and engineer. Sean Flora engineer.
Jo Alexis is a songwriter, producer and vocalist for over 150 songs for her many projects. Her current projects include: GALEXI, a sci-fi triphop duo, who just released a music video of their hit single, “GALAXY” (which may or may not include psychedelic space travel.) And her jazz/folk trio, Happy For No Reason, recording their second CD with producer Alisdair Lee and Grammy-award winning engineer, Sean Flora.  If you are a fan of Sara Bareilles or Joni Mitchell’s Hejira, you will love this music.
